Again I have started with a Facebook memory and once again to do with sailing. This was one of the first boats my Dad owned. The name of the boat was a play on our surname Willatt. My brother is standing behind it. This was the boat that Kevin and I sailed later...
Hopefully by tomorrow I will have more time to write - today was the third day of the virtual crafty retreat - I have now 5 projects finished:
The next journal pages were inspired by a Niamh Baly workshop:
The fifth project I am going to share was a challenge to use a Mintay paper Suntastic. I decided to make a pocket letter. I used every scrap of the Mintay, an extra piece of teal cardstock and white card bases. I added peacock feathers Distress Ink around the edges. At this stage I thought this was all I had left - but I then found a few more pieces on my desk that I had already cut out!
This is my finished item which I intend sending to a friend... Pocket letters are things I have sent many times - a collection of 9 ATCs with behind a little letter and a few crafty items. Sending from Australia they have to be thin crafty items!
Beautiful pages and amazing ATC cards, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteI love those ATC cards! They're gorgeous!
ReplyDeletemore importantly, towing the boat is a MIni! My all time favourite car, and as soon as I had the money I bought myself a modern day Mini Cooper Sport. Im also pretty sure this virtual retreat is one I signed up for and forgot about... probably!
