Blog Along with Effy, September 5th

Today I joined in an online workshop to make a journal page with Natalie May...this is as far as I got. Hope to share the finished page tomorrow!

Once again I am joining in with Effy's Blog Along. I thought I would share some more 'diary' posts, along with some of the crafty things I have been doing.

As well as the workshop I carried on with the mini art journal (thanks to Marjie Kemper) and here is my flip through!

 I think it's finished!

I regularly complain to our daughter, Sophie, that we have only memories to share in these lockdowns. She always says look out the window at your view!

On that particular occasion there seems to have been a problem with that boat. Usually the things of interest are a pelican or two!

And of course we can still work on the design of the house we are planning to build on the block of land we have bought. We had a Zoom meeting with the builders about electricals on Wednesday. We can't wait for them to start building!

However Facebook has reminded me today of a trip we were on 6 years ago - we were in Bali visiting a coffee plantation. They produced that special coffee where the beans are eaten by civets. They had a little menagerie so I ended up holding a fruit bat...

More tomorrow!

Happy Crafting!
