What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #643 /Blog Along With Effy Post 29

 WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #643

Once again Effy is doing a month-long Blog Challenge on Facebook.
This will be my last but one share there too...

Here is today's desk shot:

This is the other side of my utility room and my little ironing board that is next to the press.
What I was doing was attaching a layer of serviette to a piece of card - using cling film. I had layers of baking parchment either side to protect my iron and my board. This is going to become a Halloween card...

There has been a slight easement of the Covid restrictions today - we can now go 15k from home...

If you have been reading my daily blogs with Effy,  you will have seen some of these photos. These are this weeks journal pages - first two use images from Michelle Grant Designs

This one uses an image from Gecko Galz

This is my current stage with Kate Crane's Wanderlust #39 - the second picture shows my other 'desk' - the other side of the utility room.

And on the floor - the start of some pages of a junk journal.

Hope you are all well - stay safe...
To finish- at last we have seen our grandson!!

Happy WOYWW !!

  1. What a happy little face! How lovely that you’ve seen your GS after all this time, bet that was a wonderful moment. You’re a brave woman using cling and iron in the same sentence, hope the technique went well and you haven’t had to resort to buying a new iron - ask me how I know about that!! Lol

  2. What a happy smiling face. It must have been lotto see home for the first time. I have not tried the clingfilm technique although I did read about it a while ago. Any tips to share? Love your Gecko Galz page. Have a great week Angela #7

  4. I didn't know ironing boards come in that size! Perhaps I need one? Strictly for crafting - I don't iron otherwise! Super projects as usual! I thought I recognised that image - just saw it on Angela's (Crafting with Jack) blog. Love what you did with it. And what a cutie grandson! I bet both of you are smitten! What a smiler and so young! Makes me smile too :)) Have a lovely week, Susan! xx zsuzsa #21

  5. Good morning, Susan. What an adorable little boy. All smiles! You look to be quite busy. I loved seeing your ironing board. Do you know that in the past year I've seen 2 perfectdly good ironing boards at our local recycling. I rescued the first one. After wiping it down and adding a new cover, it's as good as new! I use it for sorting journal pages, card pieces, etc. Great extra work surface I can tuck away when not needed. Love your journal pages! Creative Blessings! Kelly #22

  8. Oh you could just eat those cheeks, what a gorgeous smiley chap, how wonderful to have at last met each other! I’m pleased that the Barrier has been increased, it’s starting to feel as if Aus is far behind in getting a handle on the C19 situation. Although that’s not to say it’s brilliant here. Aaaa yeah, am loving all, the stuff you have on the go, good grief, even the utility floor is a mass of colour and inspiration. The houses make me swoon!
