WOYWW #659

              WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #659

So what's on my workdesk?

You can see the start of two junk journal pages - two pieces of cardboard with backgrounds using 'Gelatos' on a Gelli Plate. So far I have just added some pieces of book paper.

I couldn't join in last week as we went camping for a week - no internet!!

Kevin, Sophie and I borrowed a trailer tent from our son Matty.

He gave us basic instructions but not for the awning - so that was a bit of trial and error!

We went to the East coast of Victoria - some beautiful scenery. And it was interesting to see the regeneration from the bushfires.

We had a couple of incidents - getting bogged in a deep puddle and meeting a tree that had fallen across the road... but all ended well.

We also visited Buchan caves.

We did manage to continue our temperature blankets but I can't share much else this week.

Our house is coming along...

Hope you are all well - stay safe...

Happy WOYWW !!

  1. Your house is indeed coming along, it must be amazing to watch go up bit by bit. Those caves look fascinating, the lighting looks good, was it far underground. I must admit to being claustrophobic so not keen on going underground. Awnings can be very tricky can’t they, the cause of much frustration sometimes! Have a great week Angela #10

  6. Oh my gosh, the weather is all over the scale! I had to enlarge the photo so I could see what temp the lime green was indicating. How extraordinary! Progress on the house looks amazing, that timber framing is like porn for carpenters, showed Mr Dunnit and he nodded sagely and wished he was there! The trailer tent created a huge space, and I think you did well with the awning, it looks pretty heavy too!
Am enjoying the sight of the started pages on your desk, I do love a printed page used out of its normal situation, so I already know that theses pages are going to really appeal to me!

  9. So much to see - love the muted background, so very pretty. I have that Gelato of Gel technique on my list but only managed to drag out the plate then ignore it for a week.Your camping adventure looks fun but OH MY those caves are stunning. Wow. And I am always tempted by the temperature blanket and I love your zigzag version better than the straight lines. All in all just a fun post for our weekly visit. Wonderful stuff for sure.

Stay Safe & a late but Happy WOYWW!

  10. It's good to see the frame of your house is up and looking ready for the next step in the build. Your holiday wasn't without incident but looked fun too. I'm loving what I can see of your temperature blanket - fabulous colours. Have a great weekend. Elizabeth x #26
