Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2 Post #3


     This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 2022 - Term 2!

Today I am sharing a double journal page which uses images from the August Challenge

Once again I chose a denim page in my journal, alongside a paper page.
I have made two pages which could each stand alone, but are linked together.



I printed the two images in black and white on paper and tissue.
Using matte medium I transferred the face from the paper onto calico.
I embellished this with some of the design on the tissue, painted this with watercolours, added stamping and white Posca and then the shoulder adornment. I made this with calico, yarn, paper and ribbon. I stapled this in place on the denim page.


I started the left hand page with book paper, brayering it with watered down white gesso, before adding more of the design on the tissue. I painted this with watercolours and then added stamping and white Posca.
Finally I added the yarn along the side and beautiful - a chipboard that I had embossed in blue Distress Ink and clear embossing powder.
