Today I chose to use one of my large journals.
I started by adding some acrylics to the page and then used matt medium to add the face - an image from Modern Misses by Annette Gearside printed on tissue.
I printed another page from this set (Flowers and circles) on one of my Gelli pulls and cut out a piece to make the body. I also cut out the flowers for later. This Gelli pull was a background I made some while ago and was in my stash...
I added more acrylics to the background and hat, then stencilling and stamping with a script stamp. I used markers to add more colour to the face and hair and finally white acrylic to the hair (using a circular plastic tube on the curls). Next: penwork in white and black and a Stabilo-All around the image. Finally I glued some of the cut out flowers in place.
I then chose a sentiment from Dyan Reaveley's 'Quintessential Quotes' and wondered where to put it...
I decided on this:
Happy Crafting!
