WOYWW #727

  WOYWW

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

 - and it is Week 727 - a prime number!

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #727

SO here's my desk!

I have been tidying up - almost clear for my next project! I have been making ATCs - I still have a few anniversary ATCs to exchange. If you would like to swap please email me with your address and I will send mine - as you know I have a new address here in Australia since the last swap...

Not much to share this week - but I was quite pleased with the items I made with some alcohol ink backgrounds. Alcohol inks were demonstrated at last week's virtual retreat by Michelle Grant. These were the backgrounds I made - and a card.

I then used the inks through stencils on the following - you may have seen two of these on my blog.

Wishing you a happy week...and hoping I will get round to you all this week...

Happy  WOYWW!

  2. Oh Susan, I have never cared for alcohol inks (AIs), but I love what you have created. It makes me want to know about that technique because it doesn't look like any AIs I have used in the past or none of the results I have achieved. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

  4. I love Alcohol inks and I have some tags that I made ages ago that look very similar so I'm guessing you did these with stencils and inks. One of my favourite stampers at the moment makes lots of backgrounds like these that's Kate Crane. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

  5. Love your alcohol inks cards and tags Susan. I absolutely agree that collecting art& craft supplies is a different hobby from using them! I’m posting you ATC today., as I have no idea how long it takes to get to Oz.
    Take care and happy WOYWW

  9. Oh my, faced with a real truth on that card, I almost spit my tea out! Lovely backgrounds, you definitely have a talent that I don’t…playing with AI usually creates a muddy puddle for me! Love the imprint of the outlines of the ATC paint (??!!) so neat on your desk protection sheet…more art in the making!

  11. Crikey those alcohol ink backgrounds and the tag&card are simply stunning. Wow. Gorgeous. HA - I am a lazy typist and I used to abbreviate alcohol Inks to AI all the time cause most crafters didn't see it and thing ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE but now, seems like everyone does...
Determined to be on time this week for the anniversary!! Happy WOYWW
