So let's celebrate Halloween!!

As usual I will add daily retro Halloween postcards from Vintage Image Craft

Halloween scarecrows with jack-o'-lantern heads!!! What marvelous illustrations on this 1915 postcard set, published by the Whitney Co.

I like to share something old and something new.

Remember last year when I came across this coffin in a charity shop and painted it black.
I didn't add any embellishments.

At the same time I found a puppet - I renovated this to make it a little more 'witchy' and then put her in the coffin...
.

My new make... I decided to embellish the coffin:

First I added a set of coffin shapes cut on my Cricut. These are based on

I added stamped spiders and drawn cobwebs on the top layer.
I then added Leigh's Graveyard - Artist Trading Coffin painted with water colours.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Happy Hopping!

  2. Great embellishing Susan, even if I'm not a fan of the spiders. Leigh's slimline nesting coffins were perfect for this - Kat
