WOYWW #826

It is Wednesday so

I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #826

In amongst the clutter you can see a junk journal page using the Conjuror of Dreams progressive image.

I was also adding to the travel journal that I showed you last week.

However this was a folio made from a paper crafting virtual retreat I was on last weekend - a workshop by Jenny Curthoys. This used Mintay papers.

The front page of this has the chipboard sentiment.
You can see on my desk the paper on which I was painting this. This may become ATC backing!

I am very late posting this. We have had a week and a half. This is why I didn't get around to any commenting last week - weekend retreat plus our car broke down on Thursday. It is now in the 'shop' waiting to be mended. So we had a hire car... This had a flat tyre on Tuesday so we are now on a second but none of this is easy! Sophie locked herself out on Sunday night so we had to nip over with our key. 10.30 at night so it meant a late night. She is only 20 mins away though so not too bad. She was putting her bins out and the door shut...
Add these to the previous catalogue of disasters - my computer failing and Kevin's phone battery almost exploding it's been one thing and another. Anyway Soph sent some flowers to say thanks - not necessary but nice!!

I have been making some more faux postage stamps and ATCs...

Gecko Galz images:

These were some Conjuror of Dreams images I had printed on my desk.

Oh I meant to add yesterday we were taking recycling bottles in to the 10c machine - this goes into Ollie's pocket money.

One of the bottles was not quite empty - he was not happy!

But that's all for now...

Happy WOYWW!

  1. Goodness Susan, what a week you’ve had! It never rains but it pours eh? I’m glad you’re ok, those flowers are a gorgeous thank you. I love that travel journal so much, I’m a sucker for anything with a map on!

  3. Hello Susan, it sounds like you've had the worst of weeks when what could go wrong did! Hope things will improve for you now. The flowers are a lovely way to say 'thank you'. Your desk looks much busier than mine and I'm impressed with the work you've done on your journals, ATCs and the stamps - I particularly like the stamps. Ollie's face is a picture! He's a real cutie. Have a better week. Elizabeth x #13

  5. Your journal is fabulous. I left you a message about a journal you had done for Gecko Galz, but it sounds as if you have had too much going on this past week. The flowers were a nice thank you. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

  7. That's one unhappy little boy.
One unhappy family week by the sound of it. How come disasters arrive in a line like that. i've had a medical appointment four out of five days this week (dentist tomorrow ends it) and the one day I had free was hair cut day. That made me feel stressed!
Love the folio and the flowers, if not needed was a nice touch and must have made you feel happy inside.
    Hugs, Neet xx

  10. Wow that is a week and a half, hope this week so far has been better? Love the idea of the money for the recycling bottles, we used to do that in the UK in the 70s taking corona bottles back to the shop! Oh the memories
