Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #869
Here is my workdesk:
My desk is not really ready to use at the moment - I have dumped a few things on it. There is a pile of small boxes ready to decorate... a few pages of Alice cut-aparts from Natalie May (I am making items for an Alice junk journal at the moment), a weight that I was using to squash some small pages, collage on the desk easel, a few tubs of glue, gesso, medium and texture paste...
Here is the cover and the fourth page in my year-long challenge.
I had got this far using water colours, Designs by Ryn stamps of raindrops and Intense pencils.
The theme is Summer Storms.
I decided I needed a sentiment and found this in my stash from Altenew.
I used scorched timber Distress around the edges.
At the front of my desk easel is my Art by Marlene tiny journal (4 by 4 inches).
I was using this to do 6 Collages in 60 minutes - a free workshop by Collage -Lab.
These are my results:
Happy WOYWW! I hope to get around all of you this week...

Oh my that is a weight and a half. I have been using various paper weights and rocks which are under my PC monitor plus my Cuttlebug on occasion and only this week realised my hand weights would work as well - Doh! Just had to convert your 7lb to kg and it is 3.18kg defo more than my weights - LOL. Can't wait to see the little boxes decorated, love the raindrops and great challenge of 6 collages in 60mins adore the neutral tear. but the hearts steals the show. Hugs Bj#1
ReplyDeleteThose are great little images and I look forward to seeing your decorated boxes. I would cover them in Daniel Smith’s watercolour medium and paint them but I guess you could decopatch them, too.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week

Loving that little book of collage designs Susan. Using a ring tag for your challenge cards is a great idea too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! I love the 6 collages in 60 minutes that you did. What a spectacular way to get your creative juices flowing, and each is a little master piece. I need to try that technique sometime. Thanks for visiting my blog and blessings!
