31 Days of Halloween 2026 Day 9

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog.

This is my 13th year in succession of participating in 31DOH!

That must be an auspicious number!!

I am joining in with the 2026 Crypt Keepers Countdown to Halloween

This is my Day 9.

Here is the next page in my Halloween junk journal.
I added a strip of washi and penwork.

The image is the freebie from the Gecko Galz Monthly Steampunk Challenge
I added a tag in the pocket.

These are the two pages from yesterday and today.

I have another item to share today too. I have been taking part in a yearlong Tiny Pieces of Art challenge. This month the theme is Trick or Treat and the first week is Potions and Spells. My make is on an index card.

The main image is an old red rubber stamp - not sure where or when I got it - but I stamped and embossed it is black.
I then painted it with sparkly watercolours. I have tried to photograph it so you can see this sparkle but not sure that I have captured it.

The background paper is from crafterschoice Spooky Background Paper pack trimmed and distressed around the edges with black soot. The sentiment and eye in jar is from a Conjurer of Dreams tag. I added glossy accents to the eyes.

I usually share a postcard  from Vintage Image Craft.

Ellen H. Clapsaddle's postcard illustrations from around 1910 capture the joy of Halloween perfectly, with adorable children who always seem to be having a great time.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Happy Hopping!!
