Get Inky! Farewell & Welcome Blog Hop!!

Hi, and welcome to the Get Inky! Farewell & Welcome Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from Susan B's blog
and now you are getting quite close to the end!

If you happened to have stumbled into the hop mid-way be sure to start at
the Get Inky! Challenge Blog for a chance to win a fun prize!

The blog hop is saying goodbye to our previous team members,
and welcoming our current members, some of whom are new to Get Inky! (like me!!)

For my project I have made this matching card and gift box...

For both items I used the 'I love you...to the moon and back' digi
which I received with the Inky Moonbeams Club January Newsletter.
I printed it out several times to cut out and layer in different papers.
These papers were all from my stash!

The gift box is 'walnut whip' sized - one of my favourite treats!
Maybe I will keep this one for myself!!
I used the Sissix Box, Long triangle extra long die with my Big Shot to make the gift box.
I added a ribbon using a brad to keep it in place and several star shaped gems.

For the card I started with a square card base and matted it with my first paper - this I know came from a 'fill a folder with as much paper as you can' offer!
I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz 'broken china' Distress Ink.
I cut the next two layers with nesting dies and again used 'broken china' to distress the edges.
Finally came the cut out moon and heart.
To finish - a bow tied with two ribbons and some stars...

Hope you like my makes!!

Now for the fun part... Leave a comment on each blog along the way and you'll be entered to win:
