I love receiving the Friday Freebie from Oddball Art Stamps
These are available when you subscribe to the Oddball Newsletter.

Today's makes use the freebie Moe's Broken Heart...

Firstly, I made a pair of ATCs using Moe, the broken heart and the sentiment.

I used scraps from my stash, Copic markers and a few gems.

Next I made a card using Moe and a paper from Oddball Art Co Dots and Doodles

I started with a square white scalloped card blank and added the spider web window printed on red and cut out with a stitched square die.
I added Moe, coloured with Copics and cut out. I added the broken heart printed on white with a red stamped sentiment from Visible image on the top.
Finally I added the raindrops stamped in red - these are red rubber stamps from Designs by Ryn.

These are my final makes to add to the May 27 Post.

LeighSBDesigns Halloween in May Blog Hop - Day #4

Once again Leigh is hosting a Halfway to Halloween Blog Hop - find more details here...

First of all today I would like to reshare a tag I made for the Dark Valentine hop in February.

I started with a MDF tag which I layered with a piece of black card and then a piece of eco paper a friend had sent me. I had punched the corners of this and punched a heart shape to let in the shaker thing.

I added beads to the shaker, distressed round the edges with Black Soot and then added the metal embellishments and the gold roses. I added the verse, printed on some Fabscraps paper and again distressed around the edges with Black Soot.
Finally I added the string with two more beads.

The verse is

“Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glint on snow.”

Written by Mary Elizabeth Frye in the 1930s.

But today is ATCoin Day - and I have a few to share with you!

These are some I made during 31 Days of Halloween last year:

On the front you can see a coin with Leigh's Tangled Witch's hat.
You can also see a Rick St Dennis image and two with Hellgnomes Death Digi's Yarrr, coloured with Copics and cut out.
Most of them have a circle of marbling over a scrap of card...

The next one uses Creepy Cute Sad Bunny on Skull from Oddball Art Co Stamps.
I added colour with Copic markers.

It features an embossed background with added Distress Ink to emphasise the texture.

My final two use Leigh's MerWitch which I coloured with a number of Copic markers and real brush pens. I then used a 2.25 inch punch to cut two sections.

I distressed these round the edges with Peacock feathers and placed the circles on 2.5 inch circles of scraps from my stash, distressed with Stormy skies.

Finally I added a scattering of pearls.

I will link these to the May 27 Post.

I just went over to Leigh's blog and saw that Val had a very similar idea to me!!

Happy Hopping!

LeighSBDesigns Halloween in May Blog Hop - Day #3

Once again Leigh is hosting a Halfway to Halloween Blog Hop - find more details here...

I have had one of Leigh's MerMay images on my desk for weeks but somehow I have not had chance to colour it yet - hopefully I will before the end of the hop!

But today is Pocket Letter Day - and I have three to share with you - the first one I'd like to share is one I made for Half 'o'ween in 2017.

The skull stamp was a prize from Dream In Darkness.
I started by making my 9 backgrounds - black card matted with
Ike's freebie Poe Raven Background and then layered with webby ribbon in black and purple. Although I had run out of this I have just found they sell it on one of the stalls on Derby market. I love this webby ribbon!

I then added die cuts to each ATC (The die cuts were all sent me in a RAK from Amanda Phillips)

and placed them in a pocket letter sleeve.

My second pocket letter is one that I made last October
 - but I was quite pleased with it...

It was for a pocket letter swap organised by the facebook Group Oddball Stamps by Lizzy Love

These are the 9 ATCs before I put them in the wallet:

Method:
1. I started with a sheet of paper from The Craft Box - The other Side. I cut a piece that would fit in my printer and printed the bats on it. The bat image was a freebie from the Oddballs Newsletter.
2. I then cut 9 rectangles from this, just smaller than the black cards I had made as my bases.
3. I then used Happy Horrors and Halloween Crowd from Oddball Stamps, printing the images and colouring them with Copics.
4. I then placed the images on the ATCs cutting into sections as required and lengthening the balloon string. Finally I added the sentiments and the words.

I then placed the ATCs in the wallet...

My 3rd and final pocket letter is one I just finished - these are the ATCs I made to start,
They use scraps of grey card matted with a Tim Holtz paper. I then added die cut pieces of background that I had made by adding distress inks to a tree embossing folder and running white card in it through the Big Shot.

I added die cut mushrooms owls and bats. These are two of the ATCs - they are all similar.

I then placed them in a folder:

I will link this to the May 27 Post.

Happy Hopping!

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #343

Here's my make for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Do pop over and see my teamies' makes!!

Just a very quick Christmas card. I found this image on my worktable and liked it - so I thought I would use it! It was from CraftsUPrint at some stage!

Recipe:
1. Kraft card base.
2. I used nesting dies to cut the image, it's frame and the sentiment, using red card for these.
3. Instead of a stamped or printed sentiment I used two festive brads.

Very quick and easy!!

Hope to see your make in the Challenge!!

Happy Crafting!

LeighSBDesigns Halloween in May Blog Hop - Day #2

Once again Leigh is hosting a Halfway to Halloween Blog Hop - find more details here...

I have had one of Leigh's MerMay images on my desk for weeks but somehow I have not had chance to colour it yet - hopefully I will before the end of the hop!

In the meantime I am sharing some of the ATCs from the box I made this time last year...

Some of these you will have seen before - But the Steampunk ones are new...I used a Kaisercraft stamp on the 'inchie' key ones.

Basically I stamped the stamp several times  in red and black. I punched inch squares from some of the images, distressed the edges with red and placed these on inchie blocks.

Each ATC started with a dark red rectangle matted with a rectangle cut from the stamped images - I distressed these with the red too.
I then placed the inchies in the different colourway over a similar part of the stamp.

Finally I added some metal embellishments.

I will link these to the May 27 Post.

The other new one uses an image by Nikki Burnette which I coloured with markers and cut out.

The background is a graphic 45 paper on a rectangle of pink card. I then added feathers and keys.

Happy Half 'o' ween!
