25 Days of Christmas Tags - Just One More Day (b)

This is the first year that I have come across this - but it sounds like a pretty good idea to join in - and get my Christmas tags done at the same time!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here

I have been really enjoying hopping around many of the posts associated with this hop -
so much inspiration!

OK - so I couldn't resist just a couple more tags...

In the Day 17 post, I was inspired by Jamie Gracz - with her tag below:

I've seen so many tags now that have been inspired by this tag - lots of critters peeping from stars...

I started by die cutting a tags using a Tim Holtz die - this was from a card base that had already had star shaped apertures cut into it.

I placed a strip of my galaxy background behind these stars - this looked very shimmery in daylight!
I then added three moose heads - cut using the Tim Holtz Merry Moose die.
I added a folded ribbon using a Tim Holtz die, green ribbon and the green sentiment (cut from a Tonic ATC Collection Die).

I will link this tag to the main hop post

In the Day 8 post, I was inspired by Joyce Mehrberg - with her tag below:

Joyce used a tree stamp to make her patterns.

I started by die cutting two tags using a Tim Holtz die.
I used two Happy Little Stampers tree stamps, stamped in red and green around a circular mask. I added a die cut sentiment in the middle of the circle (from a Tonic ATC die set). Finally I added ribbon and bells.

I decided to add some more colour with Copics...what do you think?

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Final tags (c)

This is the first year that I have come across this - but it sounds like a pretty good idea to join in - and get my Christmas tags done at the same time!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here

I have been really enjoying hopping around many of the posts associated with this hop -
so much inspiration! I have now CASE'd or been inspired by tags in all but Day 24 and Day 26 - and I am adding my tags for these days today - this is my final post for
25 Days of Christmas Tags!

In the Day 24 post, I was inspired by Lindsey M-p
 - with her tag below:

I started by making a galaxy background using a variety of Distress Oxides to cover the page. I then sprayed with a solution of water and blue perfect pearls.
Finally I added salty ocean and black Distress Oxides, then a splatter of white paint.

Using Tim Holtz dies I cut the tag base from the background and trees from purple card.
I used an Inkadinkadoo stamp and embossed the image in red.
Some ribbon completed the tag...

In the Day 26 post, I was inspired by Jillian Vance
 - here are her tags:

I looked at the tree tag and came up with this:

Using a Tim Holtz tag die and blue card I formed the base.
I added the tree (unbranded die) cut in sparkly blue cardstock
I used a Sissix thinlit die to cut Joy in sparkly silver. Again not sure if the sparkle is visible in the photo...
Some ribbon completed the tag...

Here is my version:

Using a Tim Holtz tag die and a scalloped die I formed the base using red and white card.
The sentiment is a magazine freebie.
I used a Sissix thinlit die to cut the hat and mittens in red and sparkly silver, using a tiny punch to cut the flowers for the mitts. Not sure if the sparkle is visible in the photo...
Some ribbon completed the tag...

In the Day 25 post, I was inspired by Tracey herself
 - with her tag below:

This made me think of a gift sleeve I made a couple of years ago using

 Imagine That! Digistamps Santa Penguin.
I converted that idea into a tag this time:

I used the image precoloured with a  touch of silver glitter glue.
I made the background using the Sissix 3D Canning Jars die cutting the shapes
from Imagine That! Digistmaps Snowy Overlay Papers (I mentioned the other day this was one of my favourite sets!) Some ribbon completed the tag...
