Patterned Paper - December Challenge

Here is my make as part of the Design Team of

 Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!!

a monthly challenge to encourage crafters to use their patterned paper

I recently picked up a set of Christmas 12 by 12 papers (unbranded) from a craft market.

I used three of these pages to make this set of '12 Days of Christmas' cards.

I started with white, bronze and pale blue card blanks matting them with a rectangle of of one of the two patterned papers.

The third page was the one depicting the 12 Days of Christmas - I cut this into 12 pieces and added vintage photo distress ink around the edges.

My card today is a hanging window card.

The current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #175 is  H for Hanging Window Card

 and she gives instructions on how to make one here. 

This is the wheel - and colours

I have tried to use all the colours, the die cut circle is heat embossed in clear and my butterflies are fabric... I have used several patterned papers!

I will link this to Butterfly Challenge #175 using all the elements from the wheel.

Here is my make as part of the Design Team of

a monthly challenge to encourage crafters to use their patterned paper

I have used two pieces of patterned paper from my stash (Stampin Up) to form layers on the white card blank, using Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the second.

I then added the ATC sized motif -  a scrap of card followed by a piece of Gelli Pull. I then added the cat - cut using Leigh's Three Cats plus Senties

This card is also my first make for the 31 Days of Halloween Challenges...

My card today is faux stepper card.

The current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #172 is F for Faux Stepper Card

 and she gives instructions on how to make one here.

This is the wheel - I have used all the colours in the faux panels, embellishments and paper from Stampin' up. I also added faux stitching around the edges.

I will link this to Challenge #172 using all the elements from the wheel.

Just a simple card today...

My daughter and I were playing with a simple line drawing of a koala plus brushos...

I trimmed one of these images and layered it on black on a cream card matted with black and patterned paper.

Just a simple card today...

I started with a cream card base and matted it with a layer of Stampin' Up paper - I then added a strip of another paper and then the die cut. I used a black fineliner to add lines around the rectangles. Finally I added the sticker sentiment - from Art By Marlene.
