 A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge

with the theme 'No Patterned Paper'.

I have made a one layer card.

I used a white card base and stamped directly upon it - a sentiment stamp from Happy Little Stampers using black archival ink and a Tim Holts Christmas foliage stamp with colour transferred using markers.

Color Dare Challenge #488

This is my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

This is today's colour scheme - 

I printed the Stars and Bubbles image on white card - this is from Oddball Arts Co.

I coloured the stars with Yellow and Orange pencil crayons, and blended with isopropyl alcohol and a blending stump.

I used green and blue pencil crayons for the bubbles.

I stamped the sentiment (Close to My Heart Take Note) in pink.

These colours all approximated the 5 in the colour scheme.

I trimmed this and added it to a black card blank.

 Finally I added black and white penwork.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

 This is a post for

 LeighSB Designs #3 Challenge Glorious Green

It is March 17th so Happy St Patrick's Day!!

First of all I am going to share a few past makes - firstly two cards featuring

 Paddy Balleigh Monster and Oddleigh Leprechaun Set

And then an ATC also using Oddleigh Leprechaun Set which went on the ribbon around a decorated ATC box.

Today I have used  Paddy Balleigh Monster again to make a set of three ATCs.

 

The background paper and the circular sentiment came from Imagine That Digi Stamps - the other images and sentiments are from Paddy Balleigh Monster 

I used markers to colour the images and mowed lawn Distress Ink around the edges.

The tag on this one swings out on a brad.

I added a few shamrock confetti to each of the ATCs.

So what's on my workdesk?

Once again I am in the utility room playing with paint and stuff.

In the foreground you can see a page of a junk journal which ended up like this:

This uses a freebie image from Gecko Galz on the March Gothic Image Challenge - I rather liked it on this script stamped book paper page with a  bit of stencilling and an Art by Marlene sticker.

In the background you can see a cardboard page in the process of being made. This was a Carolyn Dube prompt - thoughtless - and I was being totally thoughtless just adding various paints from my mat through a variety of stencils. It ended up like this:

My Wanderlust Week #4 (with Laly Mille) became this  (still a long way behind!)

I also used my 'ends' from my crochet blanket to make another abstract:

I finally managed to catch up with all of you yesterday - I really don't know where the week went...but we did have a Bank Holiday on Monday.  We found out that daughter Sophie posted positive on Sunday. (Fortunately she is not too bad - and she had a lovely email from her year 7 form.)

But she couldn't come out with us to a local garden (Heronswood) which has a very nice cafe.

Today we went out and bought a new printer (with refillable tanks which should work out a lot cheaper). I now have to reorganise my craft room a bit. Here is Kevin filling one of the tanks:

I have now had a go at printing a few things - so far so good!

Today I managed to get to the Post office and posted Mary Anne's ATCs - I hope she likes them and they don't take too long to get to her.

Addicted to Stamps and More #425 die cuts/stencils

This is my Die cut/Stencil project...for Challenge #425 at Addicted to Stamps and More

I am sharing two sides of a junk journal page - this is a piece of upcycled cardboard.

The two prompts are from Carolyn Dube.

Firstly #rotating

Lots of layers - circular collage, black gesso, white gesso through a circular stencil, shimmery paint through a cog stencil, penwork, die cut cogs.

I started using a feather stamp on a black background. I then added some Studio Light die cuts - cut from a Gelli pull. Finally I added white Posca.
