Double Trouble and TSOT

Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenges 

  is celebrating their 6th Anniversary with Challenge #167.

As usual there are several parts to the challenge but this time Thing 3 involves using a paper bag or craft. Thing 2 means link to one of the previous partners. Because of the latter I have used the sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday

I started with a kraft card blank matted with a piece of paper bag.

I then added four strips of music paper and a horizontal piece of Designer Paper.

I then added the guitar (Kokorosa die) and the sentiment (from my stash).

I will add this masculine card to the Double Trouble blue raffle ticket

and theTSOT Challenge.

Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - New Term #2

 

       This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I have used a variety of designs from Michelle Grant Designs.

I will add the links as I work through the process.

I started with a journal page covered in collage - just scraps from my desk.

I then journalled across this with InkTense crayons. I am not sharing these words but you can see how it started.

I then created a pale background by setting the colours from these crayons with white gesso.

I then added Annette's image from Colour Me Crazy having painted it with Indigo Blu translucent acrylics and fussy cutting it. 

Next I added flowers. I printed Annette's flowers from Bloom on a paper from Michelle's Warrior Wallpapers. I cut these out and placed them on the page.

I then cut out flowers from Michelle's Enough

Finally I added Stabilo All, black Posca, grey marker, white Posca to emphasize the images and add the sentiment.

As you can see this challenge celebrates the 12th Anniversary of this Challenge.

I have made a card featuring papers in the appropriate colours from my stash , ribbon, banner die cut with stamp, a punched circle and the sweet pea die cuts. Finally a couple of embellishments - hopefully a worthy anniversary card!

I used to enter the Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenges regularly - somehow they have gone off my radar. However their challenge #167 is celebrating their 6th Anniversary.

As this card is an Anniversary one I will link it to the yellow raffle ticket...

WOYWW #781

       

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground but not at the usual site. After 15 years Julia has decided to bow out - thanks so much to you for all you have done! The end of an era!

To celebrate the past 15 years l made a handful of ATCs and some of you will receive these eventually! I will share a picture when they start to arrive!

So here's my desk:

I am at my son's looking after the granddaughters so I am just at the dining table!

Not sure what you can see - but in the middle is a pile of cards that my daughter picked up at NASA. They are ATC size so I am going to use them as bases!

Apart from that there are various packets of ephemera. I am making some junk journal pieces for swaps. I will give you some sneaky peeks of these but cannot give you too much until they arrive...

Congratulations to you on a great 15 years and happy crafting in the future!

So here's my desk on this auspicious occasion:

I am in the process of producing another journal page (LHS) - there are only about three pages left in this book which I put together myself.

So far I have started on the collage with book paper, music paper and some paper that has been formed using it as a stamping off page.

I about to add some journalling with the InkTense pencils.

On the table easel you can see a couple of past creations. The top canvas I made during the recent virtual retreat but I also used it as one of my Gecko Galz inspirations.

This was after watching a workshop by Emma Zappone - I just had to use elements from my stash.

I have also been making a variety of cards - I particularly like this one as my Dad was a champion sweet pea grower. The image is a freebie from Beccy's Place
