Each day I am hoping to share 'a dark Valentine' I have made in the past ...in 2015 I made a hanging Valentine made from chipboard hearts:
The following pictures show the 8 sides of the hearts - more details can be found in the posts #1, #2, #3
and something I have made for this hop...I decided to make a postcard flip book.
First of all I made 8 sleeves to contain my postcards.
Each side of each sleeve started off like this - black card base matted with dark red and then a combination of DP (Imagine That Digistamps Romance 1) and heart button (Dragonslair). I decided this looked too pretty so I did a bit of doodling around the 'eyes' and then added an offset pair of lips. I clipped the sleeves together with a ring and added a selection of ribbons.
I continued to decorate - this is the front:
'My Dark Valentine' is one of Leigh's sentiments - find them here
Inside the first sleeve is this postcard:
The image is an old one from Rick St Dennis, coloured with pencils and markers. I added it to dark red card on a postcard and added a pull out ribbon.
These pictures give you a sneaky peek of the next sleeve...
More tomorrow...
Happy Crafting!
