LeighSBDesigns; MerMay Blog Hop - May 12

 LeighSB Designs MerMay Blog Hop.

I am now onto my 12th post!

The problem with making this 12 by 12" never-ending card - it's a bit like my journal pages.
A work in progress - I always need to add a bit more!

For instance the side bits on here look a bit empty...

Mermaids have appeared in mythology for centuries - and often they were the rather wicked creatures luring seamen to their deaths. Not like 'The Little Mermaid'  of today. Mind you, I don't think the merpeople in Harry Potter were particularly benign.

My mermaid of the first page was ghoulish...

But after that Leigh's mermaid is timid, showing just her tail as she slips away, but also kind - warning of SHARKS...

I paper cut a shark using my Cricut - free svg from SVGrepo

I then added part of him to this page:

I added 'Watch Out!' and
the tail, again cut from Merwitch from LeighSBDesigns and coloured with Copics.

When this is unfolded, the two side pieces are still visible:

Some sharks eat jellyfish...

(Can you see the extra colour I added to the jellyfish?)
I have added a little to the final page too...

I will link today's shark addition to Leigh's MerMay Hop

Here is today's video - I think that's the finish!!

Happy Crafting!
