What's on your workdesk #617

                WOYWW

Wednesday again so I am linking to the Stamping Ground today.

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 617!

My messy area in the utility room...
I was having great fun having a go at part one of Wanderlust Week 13 - and playing with the technique...
The left hand side happened as I went along...

The right hand side uses more of the steps. You may be able to see all the foil that ended up on my desk...

It is based on using a Gelli plate and a photo. This one is of My Mum many years ago...
I am now on Technique Two but I will show you that next week all being well...

I finished off Week 11 and Week 12's Wanderlust:

I have been making various cards and ATCs over the week but they are all on my blog if you would like to scroll down.

Other than that a couple of pictures from the Australian Botanic Garden near Cranbourne.

Can you see the bandicoot?

Hoping you are all keeping well...
Happy WOYWW !!

  1. Oooh. lovely little tag waterfall and the colourful page with those stark black lines is wonderful. I WILL drop down to see the ATCs and it will make me want to find a swap, I know, but I have so much on my plate at the moment I'm not sure I should be able to follow thru! Maybe AFTER the 100 days...
    Happy WOYWW

  6. I love the piece with the turquoise and oranges - the black really pops on it. I'm intrigued by the photo transfer and I actually like the left page more! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #3

  10. I had to enlarge a lot to see the bandicoot. Wasn’t totally sure what I was looking for! As Mum would have said, every day’s a school day! My word Susan you are a prolific artist, what a busy week you’ve had. I can’t choose favourites, it’s too hard at your desk....but the tag pocket really caught my eye. I love the foiling on the journal pages too...and my mind would not have created the left hand page whilst I was working, I think that’s a specific artist skill.

  14. Lovely projects, Susan, and I love the Aussie pics as well - if you hadn't pointed him out, I'd have missed the bandicoot! I adore Australian animals (hence my online moniker and logo!) and always enjoy seeing pictures of your beautiful country.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  16. hmmm I think I am going to have to google Bandicoot (is it the speck of turquoise in the center?) Love the colors of these pages and the layered tag pockets is very cool looking too. ~Stacy #26

  17. Thank you for your visit, Susan - glad you liked the look of the big pot of curry I made! We really love curry, as long as it isn't too fiery hot. My hubby has been out 2 days running so I've taken advantage of his absence and been busy working on embroidering cat faces for the throw, at the expense of other jobs that I really should be doing, but they will keep! I'm at a stage now where it's no longer generic but a bit too obviously kitty-themed to be working on in his presence.

  18. Hi Susan! Yes, I think I see the Bandicoot, if it's a bird! Your journal pages are great! I love the tags, and I really like the left side page of your orange journal! Thanks for your visit, Happy Easter, I hope the Easter Bunny was good to you! Lindart #28
