What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #653

       WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #653

This is my desk picture for this week:

The first photo is pretty dark as it is straight into the window - so I tried to take a better sideways shot...

So things are getting back to normal (although my Christmas preparations seem to be taking over...) This weekend was another virtual retreat - on my Cricut is the schedule. I did have a go at some of the workshops - but we had already booked to go to see the

Van Gogh Lume exhibition. (This had been rescheduled because of Covid). This is just one of the videos I took - it was amazing!

And then on Sunday my daughter, my DIL and I went to see the new James Bond film...

The cards on my desk are from having seen one of the retreat workshops - and you might be able to see a mini junk journal in the background.

To the left is a new Natalie May stamp set - I need to cut it up...

Two more workshops resulted in these: - the first one was taught by Niamh Baly, the second Cindy Porter.

If you follow my blog you might have seen I upcycled an old wine box - which may be filled and become  someone's present.

My daughter has been making some Santa decorations... Kevin and I ended up helping a bit...
The one on the extreme right is one of a set we made 20 years ago!!

My final picture is the next stage of our build!

Hope you are all well - stay safe...

Happy WOYWW !! Intend to call on all of you this week...

  1. Hooray for being able to get back and do a few things be it virtual or in real life! I really like the colourful pages of the journal you did, bright and cheerful on a cold wet morning in Wales!

  9. So glad that you’re able to get out a bit, very jelly about the Van Gogh exhibition, I couldn’t get tickets for love nor silly prices! It looks amazing. Loving the cards on your desk, you and Kev and your daughter have all been busy creating this week….what’s the collective noun for all those Santas?!

  10. Hello Susan, lovely post. Your cards and journal projects are love and I like what you've done to change the wine box. But most of all I love the Santa decorations and I'm so impressed that you still have one that's twenty years old. Have a great weekend. Elizabeth x #16
