Day 5 of 31 Days of Halloween (LeighSB Designs Hop) - Countdown to Halloween

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog as I am joining in with

Find Leigh's main post here

Leigh has also got a Challenge as well as the hop

So let's celebrate Halloween!!

As usual I will add daily retro Halloween postcards from Vintage Image Craft.

Usually Halloween cards are creepy or cute - I made this one of a creepy-crawly!
I cut the aperture card blank on my Cricut, added the cross-stitched beetle and then the metal embellishment.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Happy Hopping!

  2. I love cross stitch, Susan, though I admit I've done very little of it since I started card making some 12 years ago. I love how well the beetle works for Halloween. Great stitching!

  3. Fantastic beetle! Cross stitching used to be a hobby of mine till the eyes got a lot of age on them! The little metal beetle looks so elegant!
