WOYWW #783

It is Wednesday so I am linking to WOYWW. By now I expect that you know that Julia decided to bow out - after 15 years! - so the Stamping Ground is no longer the place to link.

Instead go to Sarah's blog at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #783 and the third headed by Sarah...

Here is my work table today:

I have now received 3 more ATC swaps - thank you very much - can you see the badge from Mary Anne on the desk easel? This is Mary Anne's ATC  and folder - I am now working out how she folded it so I can replicate it!!

This was from Cindy - I am going to upcycle the background paper - see if you can spot it later...

This one was with extras... from Robyn

Thank you all xx

This week was the start of ICAD with the following prompts.

These are my index cards:

This is today's - patisserie. I used two images from the net so that I could make opening doors.
It is not quite finished yet as I want to put a sentiment at the bottom.

Ollie stays with us Tuesday/Wednesday...this is him having fun in my craft room:

Our older grandson came round this week too. He is an electrician and put some lights up for us...

Anyway that's all from me today. Hope to visit you all later...

Happy WOYWW!

  2. Glad my ATC arrived. MaryAnne always comes up with something a bit different doesn't she? Can't wait till my little one is big enough to join me in the craft room! I have bought him crayons and paper for tomorrow - not sure how that will go!! Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #9

  4. Glad it arrived. And thanks for the swap. I got mine as well. Also the folder is from The Art of the Fold by Heidi Kyle and there is a video linked on my blog from maybe the Friday after the anniversary post. There is at least one tricky part, the interleaved diamonds that seal the top, so worth watching! Loving your ICADS and well done for following the prompts. I never manage that!
    Happy WOYWW!

  6. ‘If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door’ has really resonated with me this morning! I should take more note of that at times. I really enjoy seeing the iCards on your desk and Mary Anne’s too, such inventive little works of art!

  7. Some grand ATCs there! How lovely to be joined by a fellow artist for a few days?! I think it's wonderful that children see adults making and creating things. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #13 www.prettymypage.co.uk

  13. Good morning, Susan.
Ollie appears to be quite the little artist. He has a fabulous mentor. I find as I age, more lighting is definitely better for tasks. Love your pieces. Your ATC is going in the mail today (thank you for your patience). I'll be showing yours Wednesday.
    Creative Blessings!
