This is my Tiny pieces of Art make.
This month the theme is steampunk and I have done Week 2 - Steampunk Vintage Ladies.
I used a Gecko Galz image with rub-ons, book paper, sewing thread and a metal key.
Because we have been away the last three weekends I haven't done a lot of crafting. On the way back from Paynesville this weekend however, we called in at the Gippsland art gallery in Sale. There was a new exhibition Gippsland Gothic by Frank Mesaric. I have added a couple of photos:

I have to say I never thought I would use Temu until the ladies at the Craft club told me about it and I understand some people don't like it for various reasons but I have been able to find products which were no longer available in craft companies here in the UK so I feel fine about buying from them. I have had nothing but good results so far. The exhibition looks brilliant, I have a sewing maching like that and wondered for some time what to do with it! ReplyDeleteHello Susan, I enjoyed having a good nosy round your desk. Lots going on. Your steam punk i-card is lovely. The exhibitions in the art gallery look wonderful. Who would have thought a rusty sewing machine would become such an interesting art exhibit. Hope you find more time to create this weekend. Elizabeth #10
ReplyDeleteWhat a great exhibition, bet you were really quite inspired by it all. Your desk looks fab, I see treasure and potential, love an ‘op shop’ to rummage in too, loving that bag of pearly beads!
