Butterfly Challenge #97 - Spin the wheel with L

This is the current Butterfly Challenge from Mrs A

Here is my card for the Challenge -
I decided to try and use all the elements!

I started with a square white card blank, matted with lemon then
a designer paper of lavender, light blue and gold.

I added a layer of lace - this is a lace stamp embossed with gold embossing powder on a background of yellow Brusho on watercolour paper.

My next layers involved a butterfly background - using watercolour paper with Versamark through a Butterfly stencil and then white embossing powder which I heat set. I then brushed over spritzed yellow Brusho. This was trimmed and placed on a rectangle of light blue.

The sentiment is from Graciellie Designs Friends Set.
This was printed, trimmed to size and backed with the pale blue card.
Finally I added a butterfly sticker.

I will add this to the Challenge.

Happy Crafting!

  2. I love how you have combined all the elements on this card from the butterfly wheel. I especially like your lace made with the stamp and embossing powder. Such a lovely effect. Thankyou for spinning the wheel this week. Hugs Mrs A.

  3. the designer paper has
    a great design that
    fits in with the idea
    of flight. Looks like
    constellations.
