25 Days of Christmas Tags - Tag #10

This is my first year doing this - but it sounds like a pretty good idea to join in - and get my Christmas tags done at the same time!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here

I am still catching up but I am getting there!
Each day there are so many tags I could be inspired by - so I keep scrolling through the older posts and keep finding other things...
I have just gone back to Day Two - and saw this tag by Zinia Redo

Zinia has used ornament dies so I had a look at what dies I have...

These ornaments were cut using a Tattered Lace die, making apertures in the tag. I placed sections of an alcohol ink background (that had had ink lifted from it using an alcohol ink lift pad and a couple of stamps) behind the apertures. The sentiment is a Tattered Lace die (last year's Advent calendar) - cut from the alcohol ink background.

I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!

  1. Beautiful ornaments. I
    have to try the alcohol
    lifting. Love making
    backgrounds with the inks
    and never know what they
    will look like until they
    are dry. thanks for
    sharing.

  2. WOW! I'd love a set of these ornaments in real life to decorate our tree; they're stunning! More gems in the gallery; thank you!
