25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 2

I came across this for the first time last year - and really enjoyed it  - and when it came to Christmas I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Last year I didn't get started until the 11th day - this year I made sure I got started on the first day!! Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...!

OK - I'm already on catch up...

Here is my tag...

I was inspired by Michele Ferguson on Day Two with this fun tag!

Day Two showcases Ellen Hutson. Unfortunately I have no Ellen Hutson products but they are now certainly on my wishlist!! (Especialy thar Jar die set!)

Recipe:
  1. I used a Tim Holtz tag die (Sizzix Stacked Tags) to cut a tag from a striped paper from my stash.
  2. I added two strips of self adhesive ribbon along the bottom.
  3. The birds are stamps from Stamplorations Birds of Paradise stamped on blue paper and cut out. I would have die cut them but I couldn't put my hand on the dies...
  4. Hats stamped on red card (Craftstash stamp) and cut out.
  5. I three pearls for the hat 'bobbles'.
I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!

  1. I love this tag! The birds are so fun with their oversized hats and the pearls are an inspired idea. Thanks for linking up with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!
