25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 20

I came across this for the first time last year - and thoroughly enjoyed it  - and when it came to Christmas I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...!

Woohoo - it's Day 20 and I am on Day 20!! Up to date!!

There are still days that I would like to go back on however...

I would like to thank everyone who has visited my blog - especially those of you who have become followers, and those who have left comments!

Day Twenty showcases Jillian Vance as sponsor.

Again I will have to look in my stash for similar products.

Anyway this is Shelly Kurth's beautiful tag on Day Twenty!

I thought this was just lovely - I liked the idea of the peg to attach it to the gift bag too!

Here's my version:

I found a floral stamp in my stash (not sure of the make, but I bought it in Abu Dhabi!).
I coloured it with a number of Copic markers, going for a similar colour scheme to Shelly but darker.
I added faux stitching round the edges with a fineliner.
The sentiment is a STAMPlorations stamp.

I die cut the berries (Tim Holtz die) from silvery sparkly paper and finally added the peg and twine.

I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!

  2. Wow, so pretty! Gorgeous colouring, and the addition of the sparkly die cut is perfect. Thanks for joining us for Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! (As you can tell, I'm behind on my commenting!)
