WOYWW #714

              WOYWW

How can it be Wednesday again? Thank you to all of you who commented on my blog last week  hope I get round to all of you this week!

Anyway I am linking to the Stamping Ground!

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #714

This morning I have been continuing with a Wanderlust  workshop involving pastels and linseed oil.

I used the toilet roll on my desk to mop up some of the oil.

I also used the little palette of water colours to paint some images.

Can you also see that I invested in Tim Holtz new colour... lost shadow? And some new dies in the box at the back of the desk...

To finish a picture from the Australian Garden next door:

Wishing you a happy week...

Happy  WOYWW!

  3. Ooh I love the smell of Linseed oil, that takes me right back to the painting by numbers sets I always got as a kid! Looks like you’ve been having a grand old time playing!

  5. Hello Susan, pastels and linseed oil sounds messy fun. Lost Shadow - I'm always impressed by the names Tim gives to his inks but this has to be his best yet. Love the pic from your garden. Have a lovely week. Elizabeth x #15

  8. So this new colour is a kind of grey? I really should use the ones I have as they are all quietly sitting here drying up I think, haven't had an inky play for ages. Love the queen, 'Alice' images always appeal. Love the plant in the garden photo!! Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindyxx #4

  9. Oh my gosh Susan, that little watercolour palette is just lovely, it must give you great pleasure to use it. I’m n9t convinced b6 the new TH colour, but will be happily swayed when skilled people like you start creating with it! Hope aqua aerobics was fun.

  10. Ah linseed oil. Had a chat recently with one who used it for momigami and, like the baby oil it seems to take ages to dry. Has that been your experience? Will look forward to seeing samples in a future WOYWW. I never have any luck following thru on year long classes, sad to say. I just have so many ideas I want to pursue I forget to do them. Oh and Lost Shadow? Is it a must-have? Not sure it is for me. We'll see...
Best intentions last Weds., total fail!
