Scrapbookingncraft Post #2

I was delighted when Mel asked me to join her Design Team. I have enjoyed using stencils, chipboards and serviettes from Scrapbookingncraft for some years now...

This is my next inspiration:

Step One
Add book paper to a double page in my large journal with gel medium.

Step Two
A brayered layer of white gesso.

Step Three
Acrylic paint in colours of the rainbow painted across the page.

Step Four
Neon paints in colours of the rainbow through a stencil Swirly dot waves  (using a domed blending foam).

Step Five
Emphasise these strips with black Posca along the edges and around the circles.

Step Six
Black acrylic paint  through the stencil A4 Lady with glasses  (using a domed blending foam).

Step Seven
Script stamping at random with black Archival Ink.

Step Eight
Addition of white Posca pen to the face stencil

Step 7
Posca penwork as a border.

Step 8
Sentiment added with a backing of white card

Step 9
White drips with Dina Wakley white gloss spray.

Having finished I did wonder whether I referred it before I added the white - see picture above - what do you think?

Happy Crafting!

  1. Congratulations on your new DT position, Susan. I like your spread and think adding all the white enhanced the sentiment's meaning. XOX
