A little note of thanks...

A little note of thanks to those of you who regularly leave me kind comments!!

You may have noticed I have been doing 'all things green' recently...
This started when I came across a St Patrick's Day ATC in my folders.
I added a few extras to it and it became this:

You will notice that the main image is a Dragons Lair Designs dragon.
I used this as inspiration in my 'Green' challenge in the Dragons Lair Fan Group on Facebook.
I will link this to Incy Wincy's Shades of Green Challenge

Anyway I thought I would make another 'green' inspiration...

I just recieved this fabulous die from Craftstash

Apple Blossom Craft Collection Tulip Trio

So I had to try it out!! Tulips are one of my favourite flowers!

I took a piece of Citrus DP from Dragons Lair Designs, die cut the tulips - my idea was that the stalks would be on green areas and the flowers on colours. This is the paper:

I added a strip of the same paper to the bottom of a (glossy) lemon card base and then the die cut (using a glue pen).

I added three stamped and fussy cut oranges
(using a stamp from SU Tart and Tangy with Versa Colour orange ink
on another part of the paper).

Finally, again in the orange, another SU stamp - A little note of thanks!

Here is another attempt to photograph the card showing the correct colours - it was so dull this morning...

I will link this to Less Is More Colour week - citrus.

Happy Crafting!

    1. I am afraid it's my poor photography Chrissie! The light was so poor this morning the lime green has come out as blue. I have added a couple more photos to show it in a better light but it still looks blue...

  9. You've made a delightful card with your new dies. I was thinking along.the same lines as Chrissie about the blue, but the original picture of the paper you used does show the green colour.
    Thanks so much
