March New Releases at SLS and Dragons Lair Head to Head

Today I want to spotlight two new images from SLSLines both Day of The Dead digis:

I really enjoyed colouring these with Promarkers and fineliners and then cutting them out.

My card using them is very simple - just a Kraft base matted with a Dragons Lair Designs paper - "fun definitions"  ( see below ) - then the images and the sentiment on a dimensional.
The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey and was cut out and
 distressed with Shabby Shutters.

You will find other SLS New Release makes here

Do have a look at the gorgeous SLSLines images...

Look out for the next Challenge at SLSLines on March 20th.

I am combining this post with that of the Dragons Lair Head to Head - beacuse I am using the same paper...

the March Head to Head Challenge is to use the Definitions - Happy Themed mini-kit.

I used the 'Fun' Definition paper to mat and layer a Kraft card base,

 interspersed with black card.
Hoppy Frog Taking Cover was printed over the top piece of 'fun'.

I also printed Hoppy Frog on white, coloured him with Promarkers, cut him out and placed him over the original.

I die cut 'fun' using a Sissix 'Sunset' alphabet and added them using a glue pen.
Finally - googly eyes and a party hat! Another scrap of 'fun', edged with 'brushed corduroy' and topped with a small ribbon rose...

Hope to see you on the Dragons Lair Fan Group page...

Happy Crafting!
