OK - so I had intended doing several things today like colouring a few digis that are on my desk, watching the videos in Altenew's course Stunningly Styled Stencils and trying some of the techniques, BUT amongst other things the ironing and tidying up got in the way...

However I did get around to the Butterfly challenge and managed to make Version 11.

I usually try to enter Mrs A's Challenge and attempt to complete all the versions.

The current challenge is B for Bow fronted card and Mrs A gives instructions for these here
The wheel associated with this challenge is as follows:

I entered the instructions for Version 11 into my Cricut Design Space so that I could cut a butterfly from the bow front. This then became the motif on the back wall.
I used a buttermilk 12 by 12 cardstock to cut the base and then a piece of paper from crafterschoice Minerals for the patterned paper - which I think includes Beau Blue and Burgundy.
I added three buttons to hold the two sides down and my sentiment, stamped on more of the base card, was from Little Claire. I used a fineliner and a real brush pen to add a little colour to this.

I am not photographing in natural light now - but I hope the photos are good enough.

I will add the card  to Leigh's Linky and to the Butterfly Challenge

A couple more pictures in daylight... the first one shows how the bow window tucks behind the buttons.

The second one is a better view of the sentiment.

Happy Crafting!
