Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge - Aug 23 - Sep 5

This is my make for the DT team of

Sunday - Songs and Rhymes

The  challenge for this month  is to take inspiration from this poem:

The Animal Fair

(American folk song by American sailors in the 19th century)

We went to the animal fair,
The birds and the beasts were there.
The big baboon by the light of the moon
Was combing his golden hair.
The monkey fell out of his bunk,
And slid down the elephant's trunk.
The elephant sneezed - Achoo!
And fell on her knees,
And what became of the monkey;
Monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey?

Note:  The theme doesn’t have to be taken literally.  You may use any word or phrase out of it for your project.

I remember singing this song as a round as a Brownie, a Girl Guide
and then as Akela in a Cub Scout group...

This is my card:

You will find this on the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge
I started with a white card base and matted this with a beige card and then paper from Stampin Up's Forever Greenery. I then added the images - the elephant and monkey from Bugaboo's Mini Set - Tall Jungle Blocks, printed and coloured with Copics. I then added three beige die cut bees and what's the buzz? printed on the computer.

Happy Crafting!
