When I popped over to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity
I was delighted to find out that I was an August Winner!

I will enjoy looking to choose my prize!
But now I have another make for
I have made another journal page today - it's that 'red' page on my desk.
I started with a piece of paper from my stash torn roughly to size, with black soot distress ink around the edges. On top of this is a piece of paper (actually a piece of brown bag that my order from Office Works came in) to which I had applied gesso with a stencil placed in it to give it some texture. After it had dried I daubed it with various colours of paint. This also had black soot Distress Ink around the edges.
Next I used a small Tim Holtz stencil and forest moss Distress Ink to add some interest.
Then I stamped the AALL & CREATE stamp #164 along the left edge and one of the Dyan Reaveley Black Sheep stamps on the right with Archival. I also stamped these on red paper so that I could cut out sections
and stick over to highlight them.
Happy Crafting!
