Index Card time!

These are today's makes for Oddball Art Co - Our Oddball theme for June 2021 is

HIP HIP HOORAY ~ SUMMER CELEBRATIONS

Yes, I know it's June but I am still using the

MAY MEMBERS EXCLUSIVE CALLED CREEPY VS CUTE

 - both images -

I have already used this set for a pair of ATCs - find the post here
and the paper clip card - find the post here

But I am doing that ICAD thing - and I thought these images would be perfect on Index Cards.
So here we have two index cards - small pieces of art on cards, 5 inches by 3 inches.
(ATCs are just 3.5 by 2.5 inches.)

Notice Mister Spiky has turned up again!

These Index Cards are similar to my ATCs but I have used Gelli print backgrounds rather than papers from my stash, and coloured the images with markers rather than my shimmery watercolours.

Step ONE

Print the images and colour with markers.

Step TWO

Fussy cut the images using scissors and a craft knife.

Step THREE

Using my Gelli plate and acrylics make some pulls. Choose appropriate ones and cut to size. Adhere to the index cards.

The first one is acrylic paint with marks made with some home-made hot glue stamps. The second is acrylic paint with marks made with some commercial foam stamps.

Step FOUR

Add the sunflowers to the backgrounds.

Step FIVE

Add sentiments - printed, trimmed, distressed along the edges with black ink and with a couple of embellishments.
