Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - New Term #

This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I have used an image from Unbroken

The background was formed using my Gelli plate and textured items using colours matching those of the image.

When dry I added  stamps of pale blue using a recycled tube.

I then added pale blue round the edges and splatters and runs of white ink!

I then added the image along with sentiment and a few extra marks of ink and Stabilo All.

This picture is on my desk easel but is not brilliant so I went outside to see if I could get a better one...

Once Upon A Time Challenge

Deanne runs a Once Upon a Time Challenge blog based on books.

I was inspired by her creation to make this ATC.

The book this month is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle which has been a favourite for many years - with my children and grandchildren!

This is my ATC which has a fold to reveal the inside:

The butterfly stamp is from Impression Obsession.

I will add this to the challenge...

WOYWW #788

It is Wednesday so I am linking to WOYWW. By now I expect that you know that Julia decided to bow out - after 15 years! - so the Stamping Ground is no longer the place to link.

Instead go to Sarah's blog at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #788

Here is my work table today:

On my desk easel are some new purchases.
In the foreground there is a journal with a part made double page spread. See more at the end of the week...

I finished off week five of the ICADS:

And I started on Week 6 (Maps etc):

These are the ones I have done so far:

Today's prompt is parchment - and this is what I have been playing with - Gelli plate plus textured items or stencils on parchment. Then running this through an embossing folder - I made two ideas with washi around the edges. I wll probably use the one with the word parchment added although the second one is more 'mappy'.

I have done several pages of the  Junk Journal July 2024 .  See the featured post for the first 8 days...

Two more pages are as follows:

Scraps and thread

Anyway that's all from me today. Hope to visit you all later...when we have returned Ollie home...
Happy WOYWW!

Here's my Christmas project...for the Challenge #467 at Addicted to Stamps and More

For this card I used a cream card blank matted with two papers from my stash.
I then added the printed image, sentiment and embellishments.

This image is  a postcard from Vintage Image Craft.

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! Do hop over to see the fabulous inspiration from my team-mates!

Junk Journal July 2024

This is the start of my Junk Journal July 2024.

I have made a concertina journal out of various scraps - mainly different shopping bags and book paper.

These are the prompts...

...and these are my first 8 days:

Stamps are from Visible Image.

This is a triple fold within a triple fold based on the video by Sunset Crafts and More

This page is a mini clipboard page with lots of tags, tickets and labels.

This is based on a video by ScrimpingMommy

Stamps by IndigiBlu and PaperArtsy

Images from a Bee Arty paper pack.

I made a window frame with my Cricut which reveals images from both sides of the concertina.

For this the background is acrylic paint, wiping this away from a Scrapbookingncraft stencil. I added some letters from my stash and some images from my Michelle Grant Designs folder. I believe these eyes were from Lorri Lennox when she was part of a collaboration.
