Build Your Stash Holiday Hop - final post

I thought I would just add one more post to
which is running between July 25th and August 1st

During Lockdown I have been attempting to empty my work boxes of UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) and get them finished. You might have seen my handstitched Kimono Quilt that I managed to get finished last week - 5 or 6 years after I started it!

Anyway before last Christmas I started this cross-stitch  tree ornament...

I finished it this morning!

I will add this to the

and

And I have used  Santa's Wokshop

Santa's Workshop Passport Kit - Digital Kit

and

I have created my own accordion fold to accommodate the image of Santa with his queue of children.

This is the back side. I have used various elements from Santa's Workshop plus some stips of Crumples Chrome as sort of washi.

I then added Wink of Stella to give the card shimmer and shine. I am not sure of the photos show it up.

Hope you will join in the challenge!

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

If you enter you could win a prize...

Here's today's card:

Recipe:

Once again I have used a Stampin' Up  freebie samples - this time the double sided adhesive sheet to use with the die cuts to help with glueing.
  1. Kraft rectangular card blank and layer of Designer Paper from Imagine That Digistamps.

  2. Twine attached at the bottom.
  3. Tree die cut attached with white glue. Sentiment (die from last year's Create and Craft Advent calendar) and deer cut in brown using adhesive sheet. Very pleased with how this worked!
  4. Topper added with dimensional tape. Wooden snowflake to finish.

I hope you will join the

LeighSB Designs Christmas in July Blog Hop #24

Once again LeighSBDesigns is hosting a blog hop

This time it is to celebrate

Christmas in July Blog Hop 2020
hosted by

I am pretty sure this is my 24th
link up to LeighSB's Christmas in July - so I've made it - but I may well add a few more...

I have had this image on my desk for ages - it is the Outlawz July Progressive Challenge image and is Gingerbread Treat
from
Finally I got it coloured with a variety of pens. I then trimmed it and added a little Salty Ocean Distress In around the edges. I did the same with the sentiment after punching it with a SU punch.
Then all I did was place it on two layers of patterned paper on a white card blank.

I will add this card to Leigh's Linky.

I will also add it to The Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

What is happening with this new blogger?
Things keep disappearing from my post...?
I am having to put the links in several times before they will stick....
Now the links are just going straight back to my blog...
This is frustrating - I thought issues like this were sorted a couple of weeks ago...

I only recently noticed
which is running between July 25th and August 1st

I have another card to add to this today:

I saw this image by Angie Blom and I just couldn't resist it!
I coloured it with a selection of pens, trimmed it to size and added faux stitching around the edges with a fineliner.

Yesterday I mentioned that I was trying different things with stencils - today I used metallic cream chalks through a stencil from Creative Expressions.

This is a little section of the background I created - straight onto the card blank.

I added faux stitching round the card blank too.

As well as the

I am also adding this card to
the Thursday Christmas Card Challenge
I actually remembered that it was Thursday today (!) so I can join in!!

will you join us?

I will also add this card to Leigh's Linky.

I am pretty sure this is my 22nd
link up to LeighSB's Christmas in July - I am trying to add something for each of the 24 days... so only 2 more days...

Today's card is just a very quick and simple one.
I was looking through my stencils (for another purpose) and I came across this Stamplorations one.

I thought I would just try painting through it with my Zig pens - not a perfect result but I quite like the shimmer and shine!

I trimmed the image and added faux stitching around it with a brown fineliner. I added this to a white card blank matted with a paper from crafterschoice Minerals 12 by 12 paper pad.
Finally I added a sentiment - die cut and added to a scrap of card, faux stitched and added on dimensional tape.

I will add this card to Leigh's Linky.

I am pretty sure this is my 21st
link up to LeighSB's Christmas in July - I am trying to add something for each of the 24 days... so only 3 more days...

Yesterday I mentioned the second video I watched...Iced Images...This was to make a pair of envelope cards.

Today I have the second card to show you...

This uses the second piece of the A4 kraft card - the triangles are formed using a patterned paper from my stash and a paper I created using Leigh's Winter snowflakes, coloured with FrostBlue Copic.

This time the card opens as a normal card.

It has a pocket in the front to hold a tag. For my tag I have used
 LeighSB Designs Oddleigh Snowflake Elf
coloured with Copics and gold Zig pen.

I will add this card to Leigh's Linky.

I have just discovered The Build Your Stash Holiday Hop so I will add this card there!

Here are both my envelope cards:
