Addicted to Stamps and More #294 CAS

Here's my CAS card...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

This is Challenge #294 - I just realised I didn't blog about the card I made for #292 - it must have completely slipped my mind!

I hate to waste paint so if I have some left over on my craft mat, I paint it onto some scrap paper for use at some later stage. Here I have used acrylic paint on some water colour paper.
I overstamped images from Happy Little Stampers
Perfectly Succulent
and cut them out.

I arranged these on a 5 by 7 inch cream card blank with 'Stuck on you' - a sissix die - and three zigzags - a Die-namics die.

Hope you will enter the Challenge!

Guest Designer For Leigh SB Designs #2

I recently won an image set from Leigh of LeighSB Designs
and she asked me if I would like to do a Guest Designer Spot with it...

Of course I said yes!

The set was the Little Miss Oddleigh Dreaming of Sleep
This was particularly appropriate as sleep does not come easily at the moment!

I made a card:

I started with a cream 5 by 7 inch card base and added layers of yellow and blue card.
I combined the image in Serif Craft Artist 2 with the speech bubble and two papers:
Pink Starfish paper from Imagine That Digistamps
Blue starry paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
I cut this out and layered it on yellow card.
I printed the image again, coloured it with Promarkers, cut it out and stuck it over the original - this gave it just a little more dimension.
I added this in the top right corner and put strips of washi around the two edges.
Finally I added the die cut kitties - Penny Black FeLine - using sparkly foam, and then the button.

Find out more from Leigh over on her blog - she has a Half Way to Halloween hop coming up soon!!

I will also add this to Ike's SUYP Challenge #30

HIMCR #353

Do pop over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

Here's my post for HIMCR #353 - Masculine / Father's Day!

The sponsor is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

The giveaway is 3 Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps images!

I have made two cards:

The first one uses Let's Go Fishing Puppy
I printed this and then coloured it with promarkers.
I trimmed it using a stitched die and mounted it on a green scalloped die cut.
The base I chose was a white square scalloped one and I used a paper from
Imagine That Digistamps as the first layer.
The sentiment came with the image - I printed this and layered it on a green tag.
Finally I added a tiny plastic fish.

My second card is a gatefold which seems to be one of my favourite folds at the moment - Find details of how to make this fold in my last video

The images and sentiments I used here came from
Soar above the Rest Digital Stamps

The paper is one I found in my stash.

Hope you will join the Challenge!

Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge #327

I like to make use of my scraps whenever I can -
so I was delighted to make a GDT creation for Pixie's Snippets Playground...

Here is my card:

I keep my scraps in a filing cabinet:

The pieces range from teeny tiny to quite large - so I could find a scrap of the spotty teal background
paper that would cover the 5 by 7 in. card blank in two pieces - a large rectangle, then the strip along the bottom. I added a length of ribbon to this, with a small scrap tied around it, and then began to find scraps of card that would match the colours on this ribbon.

I found a piece of grey to die cut the STAMPlorations Bloomtangled Cover Plate Die 2
which forms the main focus of the card.
I then paper pieced several areas of the die cut by using the die several times with small scraps.

My final move was to add some wooden butterfly embellishments.

Hope you will pop over to Pixie's Crafty Workshop ... and join in the Snippets Challenge?

I would like to enter this card in the STAMPlorations

Bunnies

You might like to use this for the Challenge - but your image is free choice!

My card uses "Zip It!" and many shades of blue...

ZIP IT !

I am not sure who I might send this card to!
It started with a white scalloped card blank layered with blue card then a DP from
Decosses Dynamite Doodles
I added a blue ribbon across these before adhering to the card base.
I then added the image, printed, cut out and coloured with a variety of markers.

Next I added two tiny tags cut from the DP using a Tim Holtz die, with scraps of ribbon and attached with dimensional tape. I added ZIP IT! printed on the computer.
Finally I glued a zipper and three buttons in place.

Hope you will pop over to Ike's World Challenges and see the DT's inspiration for the current challenge - and join in!
