Another week gone!!

So far so good...

Today my 31DOH post features my make for Left of Center...

Challenge #153 starts this weekend at LOC "Halloween"

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps

I have made three ATCs using the image Halloween Silhouette Trio, printed on pale green card and cut out.

I will link this to the Catch The Bug October Color Challenge

The bases are Halloween fabric, glued to card and cut with a Tim Holtz ATC die.
(You may well see this
fabric again in a few days...)
I added the card corners cut with the same die.

I added a piece of the trio to each base - here with a googly eye and a foam sticker.
I painted each piece of the trio with glossy accents.

This one too had googly eyes and a pumpkin sticker...

To this one I just added some yellow card to the lamp and a witch sticker.

I used two of these ATCs to finish my second minijournal.

I added a ribbon with motif to tie it together - that Smeared Ink image again...

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 15

Combined with 31DOC here's my next inspiration post as a member of the Dynamite Delights DT of

Imagine That Digis By Kris!

Fall Embossing

This challenge runs October 1 - November 4

I decided to make an ATC for my pumpkin minijournal using Marleen's Pumpkin Frogs

To make the background I embossed some card in an embossing folder, painted it with black gesso and then highlighted the embossing with Inka Gold bronze.
I trimmed this to size and matted it onto a 2.5 by 3.5 inch rectangle of orange card.
I then added the image (precoloured and fussy cut) and the button - both from the digi set.
I then added some domed orange sparkly stickers.

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 8

Today I have two more pages in my minijournal to show you.

I have used some of the super Vera Lane Halloween images to make these ATCs.

First I prepared my background - mopped up spritzed 'rusty hinge' followed by stamping with black Stazon using Crafter's Companion Splats and Stains rubber stamps.

I have used this to make many ATC bases - here's a 'craftie' of my table showing these:

For the four ATCs I am showing you today I trimmed the background to small rectangles and matted them onto black ATC size rectangles. First I added strips of ribbon to each one with double sided tape.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and attached them to the bases.

I will link the second of these witches to Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #230

I added two to the minijournal.

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 6

Here's another page of my minijournal:

This ATC consists of a pale orange card on black,

topped with the Tattered Lace Haunted House die cut out in black.

Finally a scattering of bronze sequins.

This page on my first minijournal however was interactive...

So...the black card is a sleeve...

And inside is an ATC tag.

The tag is two sided and uses silhouette images from Bugaboo:

Pumpkin Silhouette and Happy Halloween Circle

I added a few more sequins and ribbon with beads.

These beads are tiny glass pumpkins - I bought them when I was living in Hong Kong!

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP DAY 5

Day 5 sees another page of my 'Pumpkin' Minijournal...

but before I get onto the ATCs, here's a picture of the gourds we have just collected from the allotment - you may well see some of them later as lanterns!

I have coloured it with Promarkers and added it to more scraps from my worktable.

Finally I added ribbon, buttons and bats.

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 2

Day 2 - Last month I made a mini- journal...you will find details in these posts

I decided to make another one as part of my 31DOH. This time the theme is 'pumpkins'.

Here is my cover:

This image is Bugaboo's Pumpkin Season coloured with Promarkers and distressed around the edge with Ripe Persimmon.

I liked this ATC from my first journal so much
I decided to use the image again for my first ATC.

It is Vera Lane's October - whimsical girl Digistamp.
I chose different Promarkers to colour it again.

The background consists of scraps from my worktable - DP and a strip of webby lace.
Finally I added a spider embellishment.

Zombie Walker

Sal (SLSLines)has drawn lots of super images for September.

I have decided to use three of them on ATCs and this post shows you the third...

This image is Zombie Walker.

I coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out.

I then added it to an ATC to go in my Autumnal/Spidery Mini Journal.

This is the final post regarding my mini-journal so here's a picture with a glimpse of it all!

Opposite Twins

Sal has drawn lots of super images for September.

I have decided to use three of them on ATCs and this post shows you the second...

This image is 'Opposite Twins'.

I coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out, splitting the image in two to make two ATCs.

These have gone into my Autumnal/Spidery Mini Journal.

The backgrounds are mopped up distress inks...the web is an SU stamp and the spider from Viva Las Vegas.

LOC Challenge #148

Challenge #148 starts today at LOC "4 Legged Friends"

I have used a Witch Stamp - Portrait of Morrigane coloured with Promarkers on an ATC.

Not a 4 legged creature - an 8 legged - September is when spiders are so active!
This is my Mum's front door the other day!

The background is orange web embossed paper on a maroon base card.
I die cut the image with a nesting die and added some green distress ink to the edge.
The final touch was a spider and a gem...
