So sorry about the last few days - I was away with my daughter, with little or no internet... Anyway here's the finish of my Hag book... Yesterday you saw the left hand side of my last spread...

The final embossing folder I have used is Cuttlebug's Spots and Dots.

The right hand side has another Teri Sherman image and a Tattered Lace Halloween Cat die cut. The cat was cut from some Indian handmade paper. I also added three sparkly spiders.

The final page has a Bugaboo image Bug Skull Fence coloured with Promarkers. I added a few skull confetti too...

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 28

The next few pages are scheduled as I will be away for a few days - I do hope they will post OK!!

I hope to catch up with my commenting as and when!!

But before I carry on here is my daughter with a start
to some more Halloween decorations...

For the last few days I have just added the next page of my Hag book.

The poem I have used is by Robert Herrick (1648).
Today we are onto the last spread...these are the bases

The left hand side uses the Cuttlebug Forest Branches embossing folder.

I have then added the lines of the verse and some Tattered Lace die cuts.

The idea was that 'The storme will arise' from the cloud. And then the dog is howling at the moon...

As the page is turned it is back to pink vellum with witches stamped on them.

It amused me to think the monster's lair was under the bed!!

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 22

The last page I showed you of my Hag book was this featuring Ike's Witchy Mou.

I promised I would show you the right hand side soon...so here we are...
This was the base using the Pebbles embossing folder and the drippy goo die
and Inka Gold.

But to start, this is covered with the pink vellum and my witches dashing about...

The verse on the right hand side says:

A Thorn or a Burr
She takes for a Spurre:
With a lash of a Bramble she rides now,

So I wanted some images of thistles or brambles - the stamps I found in my stash are these - from SU and Inkadinkado.
I stamped them on yellow card and cut them out.

I added a few buttons to the two page spread...

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 20

So now for the next page of my Hag book ... the embossing folders I have used are Tim Holtz Retro Circles and Crafter's Companions Textures Pebbles.

For the left hand side the verse says

Through thick, and through thin,

Now out, and then in,

Though ne'r so foule be the weather.

I wanted to give the impression of the witch flying this way and that through mist...

So I interspersed a couple of leaves of vellum - in pink - stamped with an SU witch.

The page under the vellum features Ike's Witchy Mou printed on yellow card and cut out.

The witch in my book comes in many guises!!

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 19

My old treadle is beginning to look very Halloweeny!!

You might be able to spot the next page of my Hag book -

this is what I am going to show you today!

Firstly the page starts with a Tim Holtz Retro Circles embossing folder as the base layer.

The line of the poem for today says

'The Devill and Shee together'

This made me think of an image from Rosey Hearts 'Naughty and Nice'.

I made an ATC with it when I was on Melissa's DT.

I decided to adapt it for my page 'Naughty and Pretty Naughty too'.

I coloured them with Promarkers, cut them out and added a paper cloak and hat (the hat using that Sizzix die again). This is the hag in her witch guise!
