Scrapbookingncraft #14

I was delighted when Mel asked me to join her Design Team. I have enjoyed using stencils, chipboards and serviettes from Scrapbookingncraft for some years now...

Today I am sharing a journal page based on a workshop by Carolyn Dube who always loves lots of colour. The starting point was also a favourite book...

I used many stencils, stamps and tissue and acrylic paint.

Find the stencils here:

Today I am sharing the last three pages using upcycled cardboard.

The pages are about 16 by 20 cm or 6.25 by 8 in.

This is the first.

This started with a layer of acrylic from my Gelli Plate.

I then added the black cardstock vase of sunflowers, painting in the petals and water with shimmery watercolours. I then added white Posca penwork.

This is the second:

A first layer looked like this using paint from my Gelli Plate, black acrylic around the edges and stamping. I the added leaves using  Flowers and Vines.
I then added paintto these using my Gelli Plate, using positive and negative images, fsuuy cutting the latter.

I then added  black cardstock Flower Sprigs  and Daisy flowers and finally penwork including the sentiment.

Finally there is this one:

The background was formed using my Gelli plate and washi tape. I then stencilled with Abstract Roses

I added the man stencilled with Lattice with thicker lines

Finally I added the some penwork.

Today I am sharing more pages using upcycled cardboard.

The pages are about 16 by 20 cm or 6.25 by 8 in.

They are all steampunk featuring acrylic over the cardboard using my Gelli plate and some stencils, edging with black acrylic.

In this first one I used the face as a mask over the cog stencil.

I then stamped with a music stamp and archival ink and the

Chipboard frame coloured with black acrylic.

In the second two, after the first layer of paint I stencilled through the cog stencil and stamped with a script stamp.

I then got out a white Posca and did some doodling...

In this one I added the bird chipboards coloured with blue and black acrylic.

Birds with cogs

Chipboard Steampunk Bird

In the second I added

Chipboard Man with Cogs coloured with red acrylic.

On Friday morning I joined in a Zoom Craft and Chat with the UK Stampers Network and Patti shared  a super workshop to make a tape bound mini book. I used an IKEA tape measure as my tape! I enjoy catching up on these Zooms but the hour is changing which will make it very early during our Winter.

I decorated this with some of my Gelli pulls.

I will try hard to get around to you all this week - but I am only just writing this after dropping Ollie back home - Somehow the time is just flying at the moment!

Happy  WOYWW!
