Bubbly Depths #18

This is my last post for LeighSBDesigns' Bubbly Depths Blog Hop

and almost concludes my album - although there is always space to add another embellishment or ATC...

Yesterday I shared this page...

But I still had one more blank page...

The other sides were already embellished:

I added a piece of paper to this view:

But you might have noticed that little bit of ribbon - that means that this piece lifts up - and there is a piece of Gelli Pull to see...

So now a few more views in my light box...

In that final page you can see an Art By Marlene mermaid, coloured with the marker airbrush and cut out!

I will add this to Leigh's Linky

Happy Crafting!

Today's ICAD

About a month ago on the UK Stampers Network Craft and Chat Zoom, Dolly showed us velveteen stamping. I didn't have the chance to do it then (the time difference only means I can join in late!) but I thought I would have a go today.

First I stamped white card with Archival Brilliance in Moonlight White using Lost coast Designs Fern Background.

I then overstamped in black Archival with the Lost Coast Designs Coffee Gnome stamp

I then added colour using that new toy - the marker airbrush.

My intention then was to use my images on index cards but when I saw the challenge on

Lost Coast Portal to Creativity #124

was to use inchies and twinches I decided to cut my pieces into inch and two inch squares, using vintage photo distress around each edge.

Some of my squares ended up a bit uneven!

I added a  Tim Holtz chipboard to this one - I hope you can see the technique...

To this one I added some written words.

Happy Crafting!!

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #630

   WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground.

My picture for WOYWW #630 looks a bit dark but it was taken about 9am this morning. By now I have that double lamp on!
About a month ago on the UK Stampers Network Craft and Chat Zoom, Dolly showed us velveteen stamping. I didn't have the chance to do it then (the time difference only means I can join in late!) but I thought I would have a go today. You might be able to see my white ink pad and some background stamps. On the top of the box of blue index cards you can perhaps  see some of the index cards I have been doing.

The album I mentioned last week is coming on nicely - but I have been talking about this in other posts - as I will the velveteen, assuming it comes out OK.

No journal pages to share at the moment - Still catching up! But I do have a 624 to share - from Kyla! Lovely package, Kyla - thank you!

I have also had some goodies in the post:

But the most exciting thing this week has been going on a whale watching boat trip. We saw whales, seals, dolphins and numerous sea birds!

Happy WOYWW !!

Bubbly Depths #17

This is my next post for LeighSBDesigns' Bubbly Depths Blog Hop

I hope to get my last post done tomorrow.  I have just one blank page left in my album - although I can keep on adding indefinitely!!

To the middle section of my second fold out I added this ATC folder. It is based on one that Angela sent me in the WOYWW swap - she gave instructions for it on her blog. Mine is glued together a little more as it is in the album:

The paper is from an Indigo Blu magazine, and I used Vintage Photo Distress.
My intention is to add maybe 4 ATCs to this but at the moment it only has one.

I stamped the lobster in black on pale blue card and cut it out (Stampin' Up stamp from By The Tide)

I added it to an ATC base of pale blue, dark blue then strips cut from embellishment packaging (Nothing goes to waste!!)

I then added a brass eyelet with a scrap of the shell ribbon.

I will add this to Leigh's Linky

Happy Crafting!

Bubbly Depths #16

This is my next post for LeighSBDesigns' Bubbly Depths Blog Hop

In this post I am sharing another ICAD - I found another die cut seahorse - but this is the last I had!! The background is a Gelli Pull using acrylics and homemade hot glue stamps.

The word is a freebie from Dark Room Door.

----------------

I really like this jelly fish paper from Stampin' Up - I only had one 6 by  piece but I have been saving it for a special occasion! Anyway this is the last scrap!!

I used green card, vintage photo distress and the jelly fish on top were cut from a very tiny piece and placed on dimensionals.

I will add this to Leigh's Linky

Bubbly Depths Blog Hop #15

This is my next post for LeighSBDesigns' Bubbly Depths Blog Hop

Remember I shared this the other day?

Playing with papers (love that Stampin' Up jelly fish paper) and a bottle image. This has a little colour added using markers, an acetate window and images from Gecko GalzThe bottle shape came from Mickey at UKSN.

Well I made several similar projects - by now they will hopefully have arrived at the recipients.
This went to Mickey - a small card...this has washi around the edge.

I then went on to make 4 ATCs:

Some of these have now gone to a Gecko Galz ATC swap partner and they have now been shared on that group.

I will add these to Leigh's Linky

Happy Crafting!

Bubbly Depths Hop #14

This is my next post for LeighSBDesigns' Bubbly Depths Blog Hop

I am aiming for 18 posts as I hope to have by then finished my album bar final embellishments and shared a couple of other things.

New additions to my little album are as follows:

To the net page I added two of Leigh's sharks.
Again I used my Cricut and these svgs from LeighSB Designs

Next remember this page?

I added a couple of shell embellishments - and then saw another seahorse lying on my desk and decided to use it in my album again...

This is the centre page of the second fold out. I just added two ATCs. They both started wth blue card and a background taken from a sunset photo plus shaded lilac distress ink. The one on the left then had the seahorse and the tiny shells.

Today Kevin and I and our daughter have been on a whale watching boat trip. We saw whales, seals, dolphins and many seabirds.

I decided I better add a whale - this one is from Stampin Up Whale Done plus matching punch.

I will add these to Leigh's Linky

Happy Crafting!
