This is my Day 25 on March 31st!

Once again I am using

 Bunny Balleigh Monster Easter Set

You have already seen these two:

I am using it again today on an ATC.

Recipe:

1. Dark red rectangle 2.5 by 3.5 inches.
2. Background - see below.
3. Image printed ATC size this time, coloured with markers and cut out.
4. Sentiment stamped in Archival using a stamp from Joy Clair's Easter Set.

This week I decorated a large background to go in a star shaped frame.

 (This was leading from a Tracy Scott workshop some while ago).

I cut the star shape from this leaving some pieces that I thought would make good ATC backgrounds. I thought the shapes were a bit Easter eggy!

Butterfly Challenge - K is for Kite Fold Version 11

This is a Kite fold card - the current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge  and I will link the card there. I have used Kite fold, Kombu Green and butterflies and hope this counts...

 Mrs A gives instructions for Kite fold cards here and the challenge has the following associated wheel. 

This is variation 11. 

The wooden butterflies were part of a prize from Mrs A!

Open the kite and there is space for a message message.

The patterned paper I used was a double sided one from Stampin Up. I couldn't decide which to use so I made my card 'ambidextrous'!

The sentiment is a stamp from a set by Joy Clair, Happy Easter, stamped in black on some of the yellow card and trimmed.

I added faux stitching with a Micron pen around everything!

Recipe:

1. Blue card blank.
2. Easter Egg Mandala cut on my Cricut using cardstock from my stash. SVG files from Jennifer Maker.
3. Image coloured with markers and cut out.
4. Sentiment printed on the computer, scribbled around, trimmed and put in place.

LeighSB's Spring Blog Hop 2021- Day 21 - March 27th

This is my Day 21!

Gradually I am working through the Spring flowers and using some samples from the Stampin' Up rep! I also bought the Garden Wishes stamps and Dandy Wishes dies - and there they were waiting to be played with - a NBUS - so will link this to Darnell's blog!

I decided to make a CAS Thank you card.

I love that dandelion die.

Recipe:

1. Pale blue card blank.
2. Three dandelion die cuts, cut from a blue spot Stampin Up paper.
3. Oval die cut (unbranded die) from Stampin Up Dandelion paper.
4. Thank you in pale blue - Avery Elle die.

This was an idea based on a CAS Colours and Sketches #412 sketch and I will share this there.

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2021 Post #10

 

This is my tenth post in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2021!

I am going back to my first post as I have had this image from 

Limited Runs (Sponsor) on my desk since then!

It is Bunny Tea Cup.

 I also had my shimmery water colours on my desk so in an odd moment I painted it.

I used some Stampin' up papers and card blank for the rest - and added a CAS-UAL Fridays sentiment.

As this has a bunny on it I am also going to add this card to

 Leigh's  Spring hop Day 20 March 26. Spring-blog-hop-2021

LeighSB's Spring Blog Hop 2021- Day 19 - March 25th

This is my Day 19!

I have just been palying with my shimmery water colours and some samples from the Stampin' Up rep!

Recipe:

1. Dark purple card blank.
2. Layer of Stampin' Up paper in yellow stripe.
3. Strips of purple Stampin Up paper.
4. Image coloured with shimmery water colours Flower Block Daffodil from Bugaboo. Cut out.
5. Three gems.

Not sure whether you can see the shimmer.

Are they snowdrops?

Here are today's makes for Oddball Art Co - Our Oddball theme for this month is 

Lucky Spring Days -St. Patricks Day/Spring Begins

I am using CCC144 Ghoulish Garden and when I first saw this image, I immediately thought of snowdrops!

My first idea was to make an ATC using layers of green and teal on the base.

I then printed the image on a paper from Stay Creepy adding extra colour with markers.

But this was only the start of today's makes... I wanted to use a similar ATC as part of an impossible card.

Step ONE

Make the card base - I actually did this on my Cricut but it is just as easy to draw it out, cut and score and fold, starting with a piece of card 6 inches by 7 inches. 

Step TWO

Score and fold the middle section so that if you twist the right hand side underneath, the base will look like this with the middle section standing up.

Step THREE

Decorate - I added the ATC to the middle.

Step FOUR

I added more of the paper on the front, matted on green - only attaching the left hand side so that the card is still foldable.

Step FIVE

This picture is from above - I added another strip across only attaching to the right hand side, and then two more of the images layered on teal and green.

Step SIX

The card will still lie flat to go in a large envelope like this (folded back to its original shape): 

Or even like this if it's easier.
