Crafty Hazelnut's Weekly Challenge # 392

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Add a Snowflake'

Here is my card:







Once again I have not used my printer - I am still having problems with it!
I started with a small 4 by 4 card blank
 and added a piece of snowflake paper from my stash.
I then added a few snowflakes cut with a Paper Smooches die set from sparkly paper.
I then added Merry Christmas - a silvery peel off.

Addicted to Stamps and More - Holiday #298


Here's my card for the Holiday Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

A simple Christmas card to add to my collection!
I started with square card blank matted with red card then layered with a paper from my stash. I then added the image also layered on red card - I am not sure where this stamp came from. I added a little colour with a Zig real brush pen and some gems.

I have made a twisted easel card using paper and precoloured image from The Paper Shelter.

My card is themed 'Enjoy the Journey' using a magazine freebie stamp behind the sailor image and on the easel stand. I also used strips of washi across each face.

Once again I have not used my printer - I am still having problems with it!
I used an image that came in a CraftsuPrint bundle.
I cut this out with a stitched circle die.
I started with a small 4 by 4 card blank and added a piece of red card cut with a stitched square die. I added two strips of Washi with the image above and below them.

Addicted to Stamps and More #297 - Make your Mark


Here's my Make Your Mark card...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
This challenge requires a card using markers or colouring pencils or the like - making your mark...


I planned to post this card for #292 Make your Mark - but somehow I forgot it...
It is a simple card using a white card blank layered with two squares of card punched on each corner with a corner punch.
I then added the Craftstash wishes stamp coloured with a variety of markers.
Birthday is a die I have in my stash...

Ike's World Challenges #109


Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#109) is Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of 'June in bustin' out all over'

and this is my midway post...

My card uses the new image Hydrangea...


I decided to use this as Mum and Dad have a lovely Hydrangea in their garden - in a pot by the front door.

Here is Dad appreciating it...



I printed the image and coloured it with a collection of markers, cut it out with a scalloped die and added picked raspberry distress ink around the edges.


I layered this on pink card and added it to a white scalloped card blank, which had been matted with purple card and then layered with a paper that I had printed on the computer with distress ink around the edge.


I also made a matching tag:

I have used True Beauty Digital Stamp Set for the image and sentiment.
I printed the image and coloured it with an assortment of markers.
Having cut it out with a nesting die I added distress ink around the edge (picked raspberry).
I cut the sentiment into tag and added the same distress ink
The card base is a white square scalloped one, matted with a piece of dark pink card.




I added the sentiment, then the tag on dimensionals and finally a collection of bow buttons and ribbon.

Crafty Hazelnut's Challenge #390 - Non-traditional colours

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Non-traditional colours'

Here is my card:



Once again I have not used my printer - I am still having problems with it!
I started with a small landscape card blank.

I then added the blue background - Using a baby wipe I added blue paint to a piece of card, then green paint through a stencil and finally white through the stencil turned through 90 degrees. After this was dry I trimmed it to size and glued it in place.

Finally I used Tattered Lace die cuts and pint card to add the baubles and sentiment.

Using
Gnome for Christmas

and a paper from


I started with a white card base and layered it with several layers of the red leather and white papers.
Finally I added the image coloured with a variety of pens including Winks of Stella silver and clear.
The sentiment is from Craftstash. Ho Ho Ho is a die from my stash, cut into more of the red leather paper.
