Today is Day 30... April 30th!

And the last day - my last post...first I want to thank Leigh for this challenge. It has really kept me going in this month of isolation!

And I am going to start by reminding you of my favourite new makes this month using images from from LeighSBDesigns:

And then this is my last new make - using Party Hats

I made 9 ATCs to put together as a pocket letter.
I combined the images with a bokeh paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
I cut them out, coloured them with Copics and placed them on dark green bases.

I will link these to Leigh's 3rd Birthday page   -  oooh I am #100!

Hope you will join in too... only a few hours left now!

Outlawz Progressive Challenge April

The August image for the Progressive Freebie Challenge at
is an image called
from StarStampz

I have had the image on my desk for ages - but finally got it coloured up (with Copics) at the last minute!

I trimmed the image and added it to a square pearl card base to which I added orange card, a scrap of designer paper and washi.

I will link this to the Outlawz website.

Today is Day 29... April 29th!

Once again I am afraid I am pretty late with today's post...
I wanted to use a different design from LeighSBDesigns
and Leigh very kindly sent me a voucher for playing along with the Digi Giveaway.
So I bought the image, got it coloured up and added it to a card...

But before I get to that - some more Spring-like makes from before - using Sponsor Ike's images!

This uses Ike's Flower Square and Ike's freebie Shelf Bunny.

I used the same floral image with some of Ike's Greek images in this card which 'springs' open!!

Hope you will pop over to Ike's World Challenges and see what's going on there...

But... to get back to Leigh's image...

It is Oddleigh Mocking Bird

I coloured it with Copics, cut it out, and added it to a pearl square card blank.
At each side I added a strip cut from a Brusho through stencil background, outlined with a black fineliner.

Addicted to Stamps and More #387 Make your Mark

Here's my Make Your Mark project...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
This challenge requires a card or scrapbook page or tag... using markers or colouring pencils or the like - making your mark...

Today I have made a card:

This image is a Freebie from Stamplorations  Coffee Bloom Prints Digital Stamp
which I coloured with Copics and cut out.

The base is black matted with a paper from Kaisercraft Pen & Ink 6.5" Paper pad.
Finally I added the diecut (Concord & 9th)

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! Do hop over to see the fabulous inspiration from my team-mates!

Today is Day 28... April 28th!  Only 2 days to go and we will be into May!!

Today I have just been playing with the Daffodil Trellis.

Daffodil Trellis (currently at a discount!)

Daffodil Trellis a beautiful Spring floral design by image 0

I printed this several times and coloured it with Copics, trimming each image to a 5.25 inch square and adding fineliner faux stitching around the edges.

Of course I could have just added one of these images to a black card base and made a simple card...

But I wanted to make them into a never ending card:

One still shot of the card:

I will link this to Leigh's 3rd Birthday page

If you would like the instructions to make a never ending card, I made a video tutorial some while ago...here is the video:

I'm here for the Boos!

For this inspirational make I have used  Ghost with Boo Bunting

This image also has the sentiment 'I'm here for the BOOs' which I love - but haven't used today!

Recipe:
  1. Kraft Card base and layering sheet cut from orange textured cardstock. I added brushed corduroy distress ink around the edges.
  2. I then cut out a sort of cloud from an alcohol ink background and added faux stitching around it using a fineliner. To make the alcohol ink background, I painted a piece of Yupo with rubbing alcohol and then dripped on various colours of ink. I left this to dry but before it was totally dry I pressed on a piece of silver foil which left small silvery bits here and there.
  3. I printed the image, added colour with Copics and cut it out.

The question is should I add the sentiment?

Today is Day 27... April 27th!  Only 3 days to go and we will be into May!!

Today I have just been playing with the spider from
Whimsical Oddleigh Lizard boy and Spider

I was thinking of a redback spider, quite common here in Australia...

First I made a couple of ATCs - printing the image twice, adding a little colour with Copics and cutting them out.
I added them to some scraps of Brusho through a stencil background (I was trying to get an idea of webs) on black bases.

Initially, the spider pieces did not show up, so I added a gold highlight.

Ike is sponsoring Leigh's Hop so for my other make today I combined the spider with
Ike's Ivy Corner. I added colour with Copics.

Having trimmed the image I added distress ink around the edges and added it to a card blank matted with a leafy paper from a Francheville Summer Life paper stack. I also outlined this with a  fineliner.

Hope you will join in too... only a few days left now!
