Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge

with the theme "any Christmas or New Year Creation"

 I used red card blanks to make two similar cards. These were matted with some festive paper from my stash. I then added a dylusions dy-cut coloured with markers. Finally I added the sentiment strip, cut from a DCWV Merry Merry paper pad and distressed with mowed lawn distress ink.

This was a set of very quick and easy cards - I used red card blanks matted with sections of an Australian 12 by 12 patterned paper which I picked up from a craft market last weekend.

I then added the images from Gecko Galz which I had painted with shimmery watercolours and trimmed to size. The sentiment was part of the image.

 I started with a white card blank matted with a patterned paper and then layered with a strip of red spot paper. I then added the fussy cut pre-coloured image and the sentiment trimmed and distressed around the edges with mowed lawn.

I decided to go with H for Holly. I started with a bronze card blank matted with gold holly paper. I cut a tree shape from this and behind I put a piece of paper that I had stencilled with green through a holly stencil. Inside the tree shaper shape I put gold stars. The sentiment is a piece of confetti too.
