WOYWW #818

It is Wednesday so I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #818

My desk shows the beginnings of several altered playing cards and a page in my tear-off palette. This was used in Wanderlust week 2 (Carolyn Dube) using just a red, yellow and blue acrylic plus white. I added the page I made to my calendar:

I am not quite so far behind with Wanderlust as I am also working on Week 3. Hope to have caught up be next week!

I shared a meander book last week made using a shopping bag, thanks to Mary Anne. The following pictures show a couple of pages in it - one with a window pocket and the other with a belly band around it:

I also made another:

The weather continues to be hot so we again went to the cinema to see Maria.
We also had a bbq with quite a lot of the family, at Tom and Clare's new home:

Of course the hot weather ended with this on Sunday night but it has not cooled down...

Happy WOYWW!

  1. Great meander book, that’s worked so well! Nice colours and patterns on the paper. What did you think of Maria? I’ve seen stills of Angelina Jodie and she looked amazing.

  5. I love the softness of your meander book! Blue-Grey is a favorite combination of mine and your book beautifully caputers the power of that color combination.
I also think your Wanderlust calendar is awesome!
    Have a fabulous week!

  7. Oh I really appreciated seeing all the pages, as the book is gorgeous. As is the family - what a lovely spot for a BBQ. Also love the calendar, but then you know I love them in all their forms LOL! Annoying computer issues got in my way so Happy a bit late WOYWW

  8. I do love a good lightning storm. Did you know heat lightning is the most dangerous? Still beautiful in my opinion.
The bag journal looks simplistic but very pretty.
Lovely colors you're working with. I'm behind in the Full Deck card challenge. I've been making notes of the colors but can't seem to stay in my studio long enough to do anything! LOL
