For me this is quite a clear desk!!

The main thing I have been doing is the cover of an altered book ( this week's Wanderlust)

I have also been making a junk journal cover on a travel theme. The journal pages inside I was given and they are just tied in at the moment (easy to take in and out) but I also intend adding some more signatures. The cardboard cover is covered with fabric.

On my computer desk I have some faux postage stamps that I have been making:

My featured post above is about another meander book. A friend suggested making the pages into pockets - I put ATCs in these and I have used the recent Conjuror of Dreams Progressive Challenge image.

Kevin has just harvested our crop of Butternut/pumpkins... looking forward to some soup!

And I have just finished a jigsaw...

Addicted to Stamps and More - Any Occasion #489

The above is my Any Occasion project...for Challenge #489 at Addicted to Stamps and More

This card started with a white card blank matted with a red and grey cards.

I then added the printed image followed by the sentiment using a die cut strip and words.

Mermaid ATCs

I have been taking part in the Conjuror of Dreams Progressive Challenge.

The most recent image I have received is of a mermaid.

I have used this to decorate a little meander book containing ATCs.

The idea of making the pages into pockets was suggested by a friend of mine, Laura...

I matted the card base with a piece of Art By Marlene paper.

I stamped this with a Carabelle Studio stamp in black Archival.

The sentiment is from Art by Marlene and it just appealed to me!

WOYWW #824

Well we are back from Matty's and I am back in my craftroom - On my desk you can see some of the junk journaling things I have been making - some chunky tickets and a folded notebook based on this video. There are also, underneath this, two more that I have been sent as a swap. (I mentioned this folded notebook in Week # 821 after seeing Spyder's)

On the desk easel there is a St Patrick's Day journal spread - the images are from Conjuror of Dreams.

As I was away last week I didn't share the recent journal page I had done: - the cat is from Karen Yates at Michelle Grant Designs.

And a zine which I made during a UKSN Zoom - workshop by Mickey. 

This used a lot of Art by Marlene stuff

I missed out on the Conjuror of Dreams Progressive Challenge as I was away - but this is the card I made when I got back with last week's image.

On the way home from East Gippsland we called in at Yinnar. There was a sculpture festival to see. Some of the sculptures were along the main street; some were in a gallery.

Our Song/Rhyme this fortnight is from Margaret

I was thinking of fairies...

These images and sentiment come from Scrimpingmommy. I fussy cut them all and then layered them up on a cream card blank. 

The upper layers are on dimensional tape.

But as it is St Patrick's Day tomorrow I also thought of Irish little folk - leprechauns. This image and sentiment are from LeighSBDesigns and firstly a card I made some time ago...then a new one - not quite a leprechaun but that's what it made me think of!!

The second one has layers of green papers - one from Scrimpingmommy, one from Gecko Galz and one just in my stash.

 

I coloured the image with markers and cut it out.
