WOYWW #825

It is Wednesday so

I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #825

For me this is quite a clear desk!!

The main thing I have been doing is the cover of an altered book ( this week's Wanderlust)

I have also been making a junk journal cover on a travel theme. The journal pages inside I was given and they are just tied in at the moment (easy to take in and out) but I also intend adding some more signatures. The cardboard cover is covered with fabric.

On my computer desk I have some faux postage stamps that I have been making:

My featured post above is about another meander book. A friend suggested making the pages into pockets - I put ATCs in these and I have used the recent Conjuror of Dreams Progressive Challenge image.

Kevin has just harvested our crop of Butternut/pumpkins... looking forward to some soup!

And I have just finished a jigsaw...

That's all for now...

Happy WOYWW!

  2. That’s a lot of squashes but they store well! I remember trying to grow one in Wiltshire, the plant took up way too much space and we got one measly little specimen, lol! I really like the altered book and journal covers, they both work well. And there’s a lot of blue in that jigsaw, well done on completing it!

  4. Where to begin?? OMG the squash looks lovely. I know just the recipe I would use for that. And the book at the top is great, as are all the book related items. I just love making (and seeing) handmade books. I love faux postage. Did you know you can cut the edges with thinning shears to give them that post card edge? So fun! I might have abandoned the jigsaw. SO MUCH blue... :)
    A no-knitting day WOYWW!

  6. Wow! What a crop! I have had one butternut squash sitting on my counter for a few weeks now just waiting to be made into soup - I have to get on that! I love butternut squash soup, but I'm also a great procrastinator! You have been very busy! The two covers you are working on look great. And the mermaid zig zag look like so much fun! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #15

  9. You’ve done some beautiful work this week, your journal is lovely. I always admire people who can get into bookbinding but I’ll stick to my sketching and watercolours, and crochet.
    Have a good week
